The Media Authority of February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition issued a statement of solidarity with Al-Mayadeen Media Network, which reads as follows:
In the name of Allah the most merciful,
In line with the continuation of its genocide war against Gaza, the Zionist aggression insists on fighting free platforms and trying to silence them by force.
Since launching its brutal and bloody war on Gaza Strip last October, it has bombed many media offices and even targeted journalists and their convoys, causing more than 50 martyrs.
Today, the ‘’Cabinet’’ arrogantly and shamelessly decides to shut down the work of Al-Mayadeen Media Network in occupied Palestine, simply because it is the owner of the free voice and brave stance on the Palestinian issue, and the active and honest professional conscience, while we have seen how the paid medias falsify the reality of what is happening in Gaza, in order to benefit the occupying entity.
We, in the Media Authority of February 14 Coalition, salute the management and cadres of Al-Mayadeen Media Network, and we express our full solidarity with it and we reiterate our condemnation of the Zionist attacks on journalists, and we call once again to take a decisive stance against the Zionists’ violation of international conventions by attacking and targeting the media body.
