On Monday, 1 July 2016, the Court of Cassation upheld the sentences imprisonment against 55 citizens in Dhualfiqar’s case and revoked their citizenship.
On May 15, 2018, the illegal al-Khalifa courts sentenced 53 citizens to life imprisonment, revoked the citizenship of 115. It also issued various sentences of 15 years imprisonment on 3 citizens, 10 years imprisonment on a citizen, 7 years on 15 citizens, 5 years on 37 citizens and 3 years on 6 citizens, in a case in which the court claimed that the citizens (138) have established a terrorist organization under the name of Dhualfiqar Brigades.
