The newspaper obtained information from a number of Bahraini families stranded in the Iranian city of Mashhad, according to which the Ministry did not take any practical steps regarding their evacuation , examination and quarantine, due to the outbreak of the “Corona COVID-19 Virus” in Iranian cities, according to the Ministry’s statement on its official website in February 28, 2020. It explained that what is happening on the ground is contrary to the ministry’s statement, and away from the rumors spread about securing residential hotels for citizens stuck there, as no serious and real efforts have been touched so far to secure their return to the country, with the depletion of their money in light of this sudden situation, which was not taken into account, according to its statement .

On Friday, February 28, 2020, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued announced the start of activating a “plan” to evacuate Bahraini citizens in Iran for examination and quarantine, due to the outbreak of Corona COVID-19 Virus in its cities, after the statement of 14 February Coalition  in which it revealed the failure of Al-Khalifa regime to deal with the Corona crisis, and its denial towards the people, especially those who live abroad in some of the countries where the epidemic has spread, where it did not take effective steps to return them.
