Weekly Position Statement: The Funeral of Resistance Fighter “Martyr Sheikh Al-Mahouzi” — A Renewed Message from the People of Bahrain of Allegiance to the Resistance Front and Disavowal of the Normalizers and Their Zionist Masters
The Political Council of the February 14 Youth Coalition issued the following weekly position statement:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
The Political Council of the February 14 Youth Coalition renews its condolences and congratulations to the people of Bahrain and to the honorable family of the martyr Sheikh Ali Al-Mahouzi on his ascension to martyrdom in southern Lebanon, where he fell as a resistance martyr in sacrifice for the Wilayah and the truth.
We salute all the loyal individuals and unsung soldiers who, over the past months, worked to uncover his fate, made tireless efforts to transfer his body from its temporary burial place, and fulfilled his wish by organizing the blessed funeral procession and the burial of his pure remains at the Garden of Jannat Al-Zahra (peace be upon her) in Beirut’s southern suburbs, so that he may rest beside his brothers in jihad and martyrdom from among the members of the Islamic Resistance.
On this occasion, we reaffirm our determination to continue along the righteous path for which our dear people have offered sincere positions and precious blood, remaining committed to supporting the oppressed and downtrodden, and opposing the occupiers and all the corrupt tyrants of the earth.
The following are the key points of this week’s position:
1. The blessed ending of martyr Al-Mahouzi (may Almighty Allah have mercy upon him) is a clear and decisive message from the people of Bahrain that the rightful path and natural choice of our people can be nothing other than standing alongside the free people of the nation and their just causes, fully supporting the honorable resistance forces, and not hesitating to confront treachery and normalization with the Zionist enemy by all legitimate means.
The front to which the resistance martyr Muzahim Al-Shtar, the martyr of Al-Aqsa Mohammed Al-Shakhouri, and the resistance fighter Martyr Sheikh Al-Mahouzi belonged is the front of the entire people of Bahrain, with all their communities and affiliations. These noble martyrs are the very essence of this people’s identity and a shining symbol of its authenticity, generation after generation.
2. As we approach the glorious third anniversary of Al-Aqsa Flood, we remind our people in Bahrain that they were among the first Arab peoples to take an explicit position in support of our people in Gaza, expressing pride in its resistance, its martyrs, and its resistance leaders.
Our people have never tired throughout the passing days and months. They have insisted on maintaining a constant presence in demonstrations and sit-ins across Bahrain, expressing their steadfastness and loyalty to the path of their forefathers and ancestors in resisting the Zionist enemy, and affirming their adherence to the option of a popular support front for the people of Gaza and its resistance in the face of genocide and treachery.
3. As the popular position rejecting genocide and normalization became increasingly clear, the events of October 7 came to expose further the treachery of the Zionist-aligned regimes in the Gulf and the region, including “the tyrant Hamad,” who revealed the utmost levels of collaboration and subservience to the enemies of the nation.
Hamad and his Zionist-aligned son Salman adopted disgraceful positions in support of the Zionist entity, joined the alliance of tyrants confronting Gaza and its resistance, embraced the Zionist narrative and justified the crimes of genocide, maintained open communication with Zionist leaders, supported and financed projects aimed at eliminating Palestinian rights, and facilitated the project of Zionist-American domination.
4. We reaffirm our view that the conspiracy and siege faced by the peoples of the resistance in Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, Bahrain, Iran, and other free peoples around the world are nothing but retaliation by the regimes that have normalized relations, because these peoples insist on their authentic identity in defending the dignity and sovereignty of the nation, remaining loyal to the values of justice and freedom, and liberating themselves from projects of humiliation and corruption.
The persecution, restrictions, and harassment suffered by our scholars and our identity in Bahrain are an example of the genocide and conspiracy imposed upon the peoples of the resistance as a whole. This further strengthens our repeated call to strengthen the front of the resisting peoples and consolidate the bonds of solidarity and coordination among them, on the basis of a common project for freedom and liberation.
5. We commend the sincere mobilization of the people of Bahrain coinciding with the commemoration of the second anniversary of the martyrdom of the Master of the Martyrs of the Nation and his loyal Hashemite companion (may Allah be pleased with them both).
Our people have renewed their faith in honoring the martyred leaders and their sacrifices, and have pledged to follow their path by supporting authentic Muhammadan Islam and defending the oppressed on earth in the face of the forces of tyranny and arrogance.
In this regard, we emphasize that our people will not abandon their position rejecting aggression against Iran, and will continue to declare this position no matter how much repression surrounding it may intensify.
Iran and the Resistance Front are not merely a defiant cry in the face of the most brutal projects of savagery in the world; rather, they are the ideal model embodying the divine messages and the entire history of reform and virtue. Failing to support the Islamic Republic and failing to stand by it amounts to siding with the killers of the prophets, messengers, and righteous people, represented today by the two criminals, “Trump and Netanyahu.”
6. While we welcome the continuation of victories on the Yemeni front and the thwarting of the malicious project of the House of Saud, we categorically reject the Saudi criminality of dragging the holy sites into the midst of the aggression against Yemen and its honorable people, with the aim of rallying sympathy among Muslim peoples and justifying further shedding of sacred blood.
We are confident in the awareness of free peoples and in the steadfastness of the honorable Yemeni people. Just as the lie that Mecca and Medina had been targeted has failed, the despicable Saudi plan will soon meet an imminent and disgraceful end, together with all the mercenaries who manipulate the sacred sites of Muslims in order to satisfy corrupt rulers, Zionist ambitions, and American projects.
