February 14 Coalition: The Saudi Regime Is Repeating a Major Lie About “Mecca” That No One Believes — We Will Continue to Stand in Solidarity with the Yemeni People Until the Siege Is Lifted
In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
In support of truth, in rejection of injustice and aggression, and out of our conviction that what is taking place in Yemen is a brutal aggression and a documented crime of genocide committed against a free people who have refused to submit, who have supported the Islamic nation and continue to do so, and who stand at the forefront of those defending the nation’s central cause, the Noble Jerusalem, we hereby state the following:
First: From Bahrain, we declare our full solidarity with the great Yemeni people, a people of steadfastness and courage, who have faced since 2015 a brutal aggression, an unjust siege, and a criminal war that knows no mercy and respects no human, religious, or moral value. In this context, we affirm the right of the Yemeni people, its legitimate government in Sana’a, and its armed forces to legitimate self-defense and to deter the aggressors, in accordance with the principle they have established on the battlefield: escalation in response to escalation, and siege in response to siege.
Second: We condemn in the strongest possible terms the Saudi aggression and unjust siege against Yemen, and we regard them as a crime against humanity. The Saudi regime has completely lost its way. Instead of being a shield for Muslims and a stronghold for their causes, it has become a poisoned dagger driven into the side of the Islamic nation, serving through this aggression the interests of the occupying Zionist entity. It is no secret that exhausting Yemen and keeping it preoccupied with its wounds serves the security of this entity and clears the way for it by removing from the scene any force that could stand in the way of its ambitions.
Therefore, the blatant aggression carried out by this regime, which targets children, women, and the elderly and destroys infrastructure, is unacceptable and must be condemned.
Third: We reject the major lie repeatedly promoted by the morally bankrupt Saudi regime when it claims to be defending “Mecca” against alleged threats that have no basis. The same regime today represents the greatest front of hypocrisy; it has turned the land of the Two Holy Mosques into a haven for immorality, debauchery, and corruption, and into an open arena for serving the enemies of the nation and submitting to its American master. It is the same regime that has violated the sanctity of Mecca and Medina and failed to safeguard them.
This blatant lie will deceive no one except those who are blind to the truth, nor will it deceive free peoples who fully understand the position of the Yemeni people, who stand at the forefront of those defending the sanctity of the holy sites and the Islamic nation. Indeed, faith is Yemeni, and wisdom is Yemeni.
In conclusion, we call upon all free people of the world to declare a clear and unequivocal position on the Saudi regime’s unjust aggression against the dear people of Yemen, to categorically reject the continuation of the unjust siege that has led to the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in Sana’a and the rest of the Yemeni governorates, and to expose this regime and reveal its falsehood to the entire world.
