Weekly Statement: The People of Bahrain Remain Firm on the Path of the Martyred Imam Khamenei (May He Rest in Peace)… We Warn the Tyrant Hamad of a Humiliating End Because of His War Against the Shi’a and Their Scholars

The Political Council of the February 14 Youth Coalition has issued its weekly statement. The text reads as follows:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

In the atmosphere of the historic funeral ceremony of the international leader and great revolutionary, the martyred Imam Khamenei (may he rest in peace), we renew our condolences and congratulations to the Master of the Age (may Allah hasten his reappearance), to the Guardian of the Affairs of the Muslims, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Leader Mojtaba Khamenei (may his noble shadow endure), to the leadership of the Islamic Republic, its Revolutionary Guard, its Army, and its people, to all religious authorities and striving scholars, and to the free peoples of the world, including our dear and courageous people in Bahrain, who have affirmed their choice and allegiance to the Front of Truth led by the martyred Imam, out of loyalty and faith in the principles of the Islamic Republic and the path of the martyred Imam in sovereignty, justice, and confronting the forces of arrogance and brutality in the region and the world. The blood vengeance of the martyred Imam will remain inscribed upon the foreheads of the free in every place and every age. Voices will not fall silent, nor will swords be sheathed until the usurping entity in occupied Palestine is removed, the colonizers are driven from our lands, and the sun of freedom and independence rises upon their steadfast people.

On this occasion, we record the following points in this week’s statement:

1. As the people of Bahrain join the free people of the world in mourning the great farewell to the martyred Imam (may he rest in peace), they continue to face threats from Al Khalifa, who persist in their criminal practice of terrorizing the people through arrests, prosecutions, forced displacement, and preventing them from traveling to Iran and Iraq because of their insistence on adhering to their faith, identity, and loyalty to the path of the Islamic Republic and the Resistance Front. The tyrant Hamad knows better than anyone that our people are stronger than all these methods, which he has employed since the beginning of his dark reign until today. These methods have only increased the people’s determination and resolve and have brought Al Khalifa nothing but failure and disgrace. Thus, the people’s determination to continue on the path of freedom and liberation from the illegitimate and corrupt regime, and along the course of the February 14 Revolution until all its objectives are achieved, God willing, remains unwavering.

2. We commend the delegations of the opposition forces and the representatives of the people and scholars of Bahrain who were honored to participate in paying their final respects and bidding farewell to the body of the martyred Imam (may he rest in peace). We affirm that these delegations, which stood at the forefront of those participating in the historic funeral procession, carried with them the message of the loyal people of Bahrain to the path of Wilayah and its great leaders, including their commitment to overthrowing regimes of repression, tyranny, and normalization. We also affirm that our people in exile will have a broad presence in the funeral processions throughout the cities of Iran and Iraq, in accordance with the guidance of Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim (may Allah preserve him), who emphasized in his eulogy for the martyred Imam (may he rest in peace) the necessity of standing alongside the Islamic Republic and the Islamic Resistance, and proclaimed God’s promise of victory for a nation that is victorious and never defeated, triumphant and never subdued.

3. While countries around the world—including Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states—sent official delegations to bid farewell to the Imam of the Oppressed, the martyred Sayyid Khamenei (may he rest in peace), in accordance with the norms of international relations and in recognition of the new realities established by the steadfastness of the Islamic Republic and its resistance to the American-Zionist aggression, the regimes aligned with the Zionist alliance, including the Al Khalifa entity, failed to join those delegations. They arrogantly refused to acknowledge the new realities established by the Republic’s resilience. Instead, the tyrant Hamad chose to take refuge in his oppression and blind hatred, continuing to incite his mercenaries against the Islamic Republic, its leadership, and its beliefs, using the methods of extremists and killers who control the security, military, and intelligence services of the Al Khalifa entity. The tyrant and his clique will pay the price for all of this, and the scene of their bitter disgrace will mark the end of their long occupation of Bahrain and its great people.

4. We warn the Al Khalifa entity against the consequences of continuing its campaign of persecution against the Shi’a of Bahrain, including the commencement on Sunday of the first court sessions for the prosecution of Bahrain’s senior religious scholars, whom it abducted during the frenzied campaign that swept the country amid the aggression against the Islamic Republic, following our people’s clear rejection of the imposed war and their condemnation of the presence of American military bases in the country and their participation in the aggression. Our message to the tyrant is clear and direct: he must halt these unjust trials, release the esteemed scholars, the remaining prisoners, and the detained leaders of the revolution immediately and unconditionally, and remove his criminal hand from our people, their identity, beliefs, and religious practices. We tell him that such a step may lessen, even slightly, the severity of the harsh punishment awaiting him because of his heinous actions. At the same time, we remain confident in the great relief promised by the new realities following the aggression and in the divine laws that promise victory to oppressed peoples. Our confidence is also boundless in the decisive measures adopted by the leadership of the Islamic Republic and its Resistance Front, and in its decision to exact just retribution against all aggressors, their instruments, and their agents.
