Weekly Position Statement: On Resistance and Liberation Day — Our People in Bahrain Will Remain Faithful to the Path of Resistance and Will Never Compromise on Their Choice to Overthrow the Regime of Tyranny and Normalization
Issued by the Political Council of the February 14 Youth Coalition
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
The Political Council of the February 14 Youth Coalition extends its congratulations to the dear Lebanese people and to their valiant resistance — its leaders and heroic fighters — on the occasion of “Resistance and Liberation Day.” The liberation of South Lebanon in 2000 proved that confronting the occupying enemy succeeded in achieving its goals through liberation, thanks to the solid formula of “the people, the army, and the resistance.” Yet before all else, the true foundation lies in the will of resistance and the strength of its people and leaders — the authentic formula embodied by the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, through which it overcame the challenges and conspiracies led by the United States and the Zionist entity. The heroic achievements of the resistance in Lebanon today represent a great honor that the nation will never abandon, no matter how fiercely enemies and traitors unite against it.
Within this context, we present the following points in this weekly position statement:
We extend our greetings and appreciation to the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem, for reaffirming the resistance’s steadfast support for our people in Bahrain, particularly through the section dedicated to Bahrain in his central speech marking Resistance and Liberation Day. We affirm that His Eminence’s condemnation of the war targeting the very existence and identity of our people, waged by the Al Khalifa regime in Bahrain, and his emphasis on the regime’s failure and defeat before the will of the people and their revolution, represents a continuation of the path of solidarity established by the Master of the Martyrs of the Nation, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. He shall forever remain the shining symbol of resistance and the liberation of the nation, as described by Imam Ali Khamenei. Our people in Bahrain will remain loyal to this path of resistance and will never compromise on it under any circumstances.
Bahrain’s honorable revolution continues to uphold its principles of national liberation and the overthrow of the regime of tyranny, corruption, and normalization in our country. Despite the open war targeting the existence of Bahrain’s indigenous people, their beliefs, and their religious identity, this will never weaken the determination of the revolution and its people. At every critical stage, the revolution has proven capable of renewing its strength and reinforcing its resolve with greater clarity and steadfastness. This is a pledge to which we, alongside all honorable national forces, remain committed before our proud people — in the name of the martyrs, the wounded, and the sacrifices made, and in loyalty to the imprisoned leaders of the revolution who have never abandoned or altered their path.
Based on our vision within the February 14 Youth Coalition, we affirm that the continuity and vitality of Bahrain’s revolution at this critical stage stem first from a deeply rooted national foundation built upon the unity of the people and the preservation of their social, cultural, and religious identity; and second, from a religious and ideological foundation affirming ties with the Axis of Resistance as a front confronting falsehood and struggling against projects of occupation and tyranny, foremost among them the American-Zionist project. These two foundations shape the coalition’s revolutionary and national identity, and upon them its political choices and alliances are determined in shaping the future of Bahrain and its people.
The steadfastness of our loyal people in Bahrain remains the national and revolutionary cornerstone upon which the existential struggle against the Al Khalifa regime is defined. The regime has repeatedly gambled on breaking this steadfastness and targeting its religious institutions, platforms, and mourning processions, yet time after time it has suffered only failure and disappointment. The people’s steadfastness in Bahrain is not merely an emotional reaction to repression, nor is it tied to political or worldly demands; rather, it is a steadfastness rooted deeply in faith and belief. Because the people’s convictions are deeply embedded in their hearts and heritage, all threats issued by the tyrant King Hamad and his terrorist Interior Minister Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa will fall on deaf ears among our faithful people. The response will be nothing but resistance and confrontation through all legitimate means.
We affirm that the terror practiced by King Hamad and his brutal campaign of revenge against the people and their leaders — including the issuance of life sentences and lengthy prison terms against free men and women — will yield nothing but disgrace and shame. We tell him: your bloodstained message has been received, and the response will be harsher than you and your invading tribe expect. King Hamad must realize that arresting eminent religious scholars, seizing control of mosques and mourning halls, and interfering in religious rituals will not pass without a devastating reckoning. This people will respond only with contempt for these reckless policies and will rise in every place and at every moment in defense of its existence, faith, scholars, and dignity. What Bahrain’s regions have recently witnessed in terms of mass public participation and passionate mourning processions commemorating the martyrdom anniversaries of Imam al-Jawad and Imam al-Baqir (peace be upon them) represents only a small part of what the people are preparing for in the coming days and during the upcoming Ashura season. At that time, the regret of King Hamad and his clique will be of no benefit.
We renew the steadfast position of our people in Bahrain in standing alongside all states, movements, and peoples confronting the American-Zionist project. We emphasize that our people’s rejection of aggression against the Iran reflects their national, revolutionary, and faith-based principles in opposing normalization, rejecting foreign military bases, and resisting projects of domination and global arrogance. Likewise, our people and their free national forces reject any hostile alliance targeting the Islamic Republic, the resistance movements, and their peoples. This independent and sovereign course aligns with our vision that genuine national salvation for Bahrain can only be achieved through liberation from the Al Khalifa regime and the overthrow of its illegitimate rule. This choice has become clearer than ever after the ruling family abandoned its Arab and Islamic identity and aligned itself openly with the Zionists and the clique of Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan under the guidance of the criminal Donald Trump. The fate of this criminal alliance shall be a humiliating and crushing defeat, God willing.
