The Women Committee of February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition congratulated , on Sunday, 8 March 2020, all of the world’s women , especially Arab and Bahraini women, on the International Women Day.
It said in a statement that it decided to celebrate and honor Bahraini women in this day, to glorify their role in the revolution for years, what they have achieved for the nation in all fields, and they still achieve despite all restrictions and systematic oppression by dismissing them from their jobs, depriving their rights, arresting them, and arresting their husbands and children.
The Committee affirmed that the Bahraini woman, whether she is, wife, mother, daughter or sister will remain the source of security and safety, and the candle that illuminates the path of generations, and the maker of the glory of the homeland that did not even fail to give her blood for the sake of dignity, extending a special greeting to the only detainee of opinion that is still behind bars Zakia Al-Barboury who embodies all forms of sacrifice, steadfastness and honor, according to its statement.
