Joe Prison Administration Prevents Opinion Detainees from Reviving Ashura

 Al-Khalifa entity continues to confiscate the religious rights of prisoners of conscience for which they have been on strike for 18 days, deciding to prevent them from collectively reviving Imam Hussein’s rites.

 Al-Khalifa entity continues to confiscate the religious rights of prisoners of conscience for which they have been on strike for 18 days, deciding to prevent them from collectively reviving Imam Hussein’s rites.

 On Friday, August 30, 2019, the administration of Joe Prison issued a decree banning prisoners of conscience from collectively holding Ashura funeral ceremonies and resting in their cells from 7-9 pm.

 According to human rights sources, Joe Prison Administration prohibits the revival of religious rites for the third consecutive year as a collective punishment since 2017.
