Dozens of Medan al-Fida’a “Square of Redemption” detainees were released on Monday night, 27 May, after having been in prison for about six months. On the meanwhile, al-Khalifa court ruled to amend the unfair sentences, as it lowered the 10 years to 7 years, the 1 year to 6 months, while the rule of 3 years was confirmed.
It is worth mentioning that the courts of the illegitimate entity had issued a verdict on February 27 against 52 citizens for 10 years, 101 citizens for one year, 9 citizens for 3 years, and 4 citizens for six months on charges of taking part in the sit-in in front of the house of Ayatollah Sheikh Issa Qassem in Al-Daraz town.
