Weekly Statement: The People of Bahrain Will Renew Their Opposition to Netanyahu’s Alliance, and We Call on Free People in the Gulf and the Region to Disavow Their Zionist-Aligned Regimes
The following is the text of the weekly statement issued by the Political Council of the February 14 Coalition:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
It came as no surprise that the criminal Netanyahu included the Khalifa regime among the friendly regimes aligned with the Zionist alliance of evil, according to a map he published as part of his election propaganda within the usurping entity. There is no longer any doubt or disagreement among our beloved people in Bahrain regarding the absolute alignment of the Al Khalifa family with the Zionist project and the corrupt American administration. The same applies to the other normalizing regimes in the Gulf, foremost among them the criminal UAE regime, which Netanyahu elevated to the status of an ally, as well as the other regimes that sided with the Americans and Zionists in the war of aggression against Iran and the Resistance Front, placing themselves at the forefront of the list of shame.
In this context, our weekly statement addresses the following points:
1. Our people in Bahrain have clearly declared their disavowal of the subservient, Zionist-aligned Al Khalifa regime. At the same time, Bahrainis from all backgrounds and regions have affirmed their support for the resistance in Gaza and their commitment to supporting it through every means and in every form. We affirm that this position alone represents Bahrain, its history, and its identity. The entire people take pride in their opposition to the Zionists and their support for all honorable resistance fronts. Together with our national forces, they will not allow our land, history, or the struggles of our fathers and grandfathers to be desecrated.
The people will renew this position on every occasion, with unwavering resolve and determination, so that the Al Khalifa family and their criminal master, Netanyahu, understand that Bahrain and its honorable people will never join an alliance of genocide and degradation, no matter how much their criminality and terrorism escalate. By the will of Almighty Allah, this abhorrent alliance will ultimately meet disgrace and destruction.
2. We have previously emphasized that the Al Khalifa family’s joining the Zionist alliance reflects the shared and identical identity of corrupt criminals and occupiers everywhere. This identity is also present among most of the evil regimes that have seized power in the Gulf. However, this Zionist identity was exposed in clear terms during the aggression against the Islamic Republic and the Resistance Front.
We therefore regard this aggression as a decisive turning point that exposed these regimes and stripped away what remained of their fig leaves, revealing the truth about their subservience and their detachment from the peoples of the region and their authentic identity.
In this regard, our people in Bahrain and their free national forces have also insisted that those who participated in or colluded with the aggression against Iran and the resistance in Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, and elsewhere are enemies of the nation and hostile to its values and religion, regardless of the false slogans they invoke or the way they conceal themselves behind Islam.
3. We call on all free and honorable people in our country, Bahrain, and throughout the Gulf countries to raise their voices in unequivocally disavowing the regimes whose alliance and friendship with the usurping entity have been exposed by Netanyahu.
We believe this event represents a dangerous turning point and places public figures and national forces before a final test of their consciences and of the sincerity of the principles for which they struggle. Any failure to clearly identify the direction and the front represented and proclaimed by the peoples—whatever the pretexts and justifications—will mean siding with Netanyahu’s criminal alliance.
In this context, we reiterate the guiding principle that reflects the true nature of the national struggle under the present circumstances: any struggle that fails to unite freedom with liberation is incomplete, distorted, or futile. Indeed, it becomes part of the tools of misinformation and deception employed by subservient regimes in their campaign against genuine activists who do not distinguish between confronting authoritarianism and resisting normalization and Zionist alignment.
They believe that liberation from oppression within their own countries requires the establishment of genuine sovereignty—one that prevents hegemonic powers from controlling the nation’s resources and exploiting its territory to carry out their agendas of domination and aggression.
4. We reaffirm once again that our beloved people will not abandon the front of truth and dignity, represented by our eminent religious scholars and the symbolic figures held hostage in Al Khalifa’s prisons. Our people will make their decisive voices heard in public squares and on every occasion.
We warn the Khalifa regime of the consequences of continuing its war of ethnic cleansing and extermination, including its issuance of retaliatory sentences against the detained religious scholars. Our loyal people have made all necessary preparations and stand ready to deliver a resounding declaration and an unmistakable position, by every available and legitimate means.
There is a known limit and a decisive moment for bringing down the Zionist-aligned Khalifa rule. Our people will not tolerate further insults to their religion and beliefs or further violations of their religious rites and sacred sites. They will sacrifice everything precious in defense of these principles and in confronting those who violate them. In this, let those who strive compete with one another.
