Weekly Statement: Bahrain Continues Its Mobilization in Rejection of the War of Eradication, and the People Will Remain with the Resistance Front Against the Hostile Alliances
The Political Council of the February 14 Youth Coalition issued its weekly statement. The following is the text:
In the name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
We salute our dear people in Bahrain for continuing their solidarity with the esteemed scholars held hostage, and we commend the popular and revolutionary protests taking place across the country in rejection of the campaign of eradication targeting the existence of citizens and their authentic identity.
The protesters have raised slogans affirming their commitment to defending religious rites and beliefs, refusing to submit to laws of extermination led by the tyrant Hamad. This comes amid the continued arrests and unjust sentences, alongside the ongoing escalation in the region and the involvement of the Al Khalifa and normalization regimes in secret and public meetings led by the Americans and Zionists.
In this context, we record the following points in the weekly statement:
1. Despite the heavy-handed security crackdown and the atmosphere of intimidation prevailing throughout the country, the popular and revolutionary movement continues to make its presence felt in the various areas. Citizens insist on reaffirming their rejection of the war of eradication and extermination, their adherence to their identity and religious rites, and their continued support and solidarity with the group of esteemed scholars who have been abducted for months and subjected to torture and unjust trials, in retaliation for their opposition to the wars and American and Zionist domination in the region.
2. We commend the revolutionary form of protest carried out by the devoted young men by writing the name of the tyrant Hamad on the streets, so that it is trampled under the feet and vehicles passing by. We regard this as the most appropriate expression of the tyrant’s responsibility for all the crimes taking place in the country for decades. This is a method that protesters have used throughout the years of the February 14 Revolution, particularly at moments requiring a clear separation from everything represented by this criminal tyrant, and regarding his client entity as part of the tools of the American-Zionist project in the region.
3. We condemn the blatant attempts to cover up the war of eradication being waged against Bahrain’s Shiites and their scholars, including seminars held by Al Khalifa institutions with individuals belonging to different religions and denominations, as well as publicity meetings with church and religious leaders and a delegation from the European Parliament, alongside the lies told by the Al Khalifa delegation at the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva.
All propaganda and misleading reports will fail to conceal the crime of eradication taking place in Bahrain. In this regard, we commend the efforts of activists and human rights advocates in documenting this crime, exposing the Al Khalifa regime’s falsehoods, and confronting its lies. We call for these efforts to be developed and for momentum to be restored to effective human rights work.
4. The tyrant Hamad continues his suicidal course of relying on foreign powers and alliances, including his recent visit to Greece, the sessions organized by the “Dira’at” Center with Americans in Manama, and the meetings taking place in New York, in addition to the secret meeting held in Berlin in the presence of American, “Zionist,” and Gulf representatives.
This course reflects the Al Khalifa family’s desperation and inability to subdue the people. Foreign alliances and visits will certainly not compensate them for the loss of popular support. Rather, they will deepen the people’s disavowal of their treacherous entity. They will also result in further disappointment and loss, amid the Americans’ despair over defeating the Resistance Front led by the Islamic Republic, the destruction inflicted upon their bases, and their entry into an unprecedented period of strategic confusion.
5. We condemn the silence of the official Arab regime and its complicity with the projects of American and Zionist hegemony in the region. The accession of new regimes to the Zionist normalization alliance has demonstrated the disgrace and subservience of this system, once again proving its support for American threats to attack the Muslim Iranian people and tighten the blockade against them.
This comes alongside the ongoing extermination, displacement, and occupation in the West Bank, Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria, particularly the recent attacks by the war criminal Netanyahu against holy sites and Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem.
The peoples who rose up against their authoritarian regimes in 2011 will not remain silent for long in the face of the subservience of these regimes. They will have their final say amid the strategic changes that will shake the presence of foreign powers in our countries, and the regimes stained by the most abhorrent forms of treachery and criminality will depart with them.
6. We renew our support for the Yemeni people, their armed forces, and their popular committees, and affirm their right to defend Yemen’s sovereignty and lift the blockade imposed upon it.
We condemn the fabrications and lies of the Saudi entity regarding the targeting of Mecca, as well as the way regimes and groups on its payroll have followed its propaganda and aggression, contributing to the escalation of sectarian tensions and harming the dear Yemeni people.
This is at a time when these parties remain silent in the face of the crimes of Trump and Netanyahu, while submitting with humiliation and disgrace to their orders regarding normalization, financing projects of corruption and moral degeneration, and issuing religious rulings to justify the war against the honorable Resistance Front.
