Weekly Position: The People of Bahrain Will Not Accept the Doctrine of Loyalty to the Tyrant… and Plans to Infiltrate Society Will Fail to Subdue the New Generations

In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
The Political Council of the February 14 Youth Coalition draws attention to the escalating policies of the Al Khalifa regime in Bahrain aimed at militarizing the social sphere and subduing the new generations, particularly through activities that intensified during the summer vacation and were overseen by security and military agencies. These activities have come within the framework of a strategy of “militarizing loyalty and national belonging,” seeking to bind children and young people to the regime’s narrative and its misleading propaganda.
We affirm that the people of Bahrain have succeeded in preventing these programs from penetrating society and the family, and that neither incentives nor intimidation have succeeded in forcing them to abandon their values and beliefs, which shape their private and public conduct and regulate their positions toward individuals, groups, and states—including their stance toward the symbols of corruption, authoritarianism, and criminality in our country and throughout the region and the world.
Accordingly, we highlight the following points in this weekly position:
1- In light of the regime’s continuing inability to confront internal and external challenges, including structural crises threatening the country’s future, security, and stability, the Al Khalifa resort to policies of “escape forward” by tightening the security grip, purchasing loyalties, and evading citizens’ sovereign and economic entitlements, while simultaneously deepening its path of alignment with powers of domination hostile to peoples. This course has exposed the complete downfall of the Al Khalifa and their contradiction with all ethical, national, and religious standards. It has led to the view that we hold: that the Al Khalifa constitute a dangerous evil for the country and its people, and that radical change is the natural gateway to ending this evil and addressing its consequences.
2- The announcement by “the tyrant Hamad” of the resumption of the “mukhtars” system—appointed by the Minister of Interior—confirms the extent of the regime’s security failure to penetrate the immunity of local society and poison the youth of the indigenous people. Our people—particularly during the most recent Ashura season—have demonstrated their steadfastness in thwarting any scheme aimed at subjugating and taming them. The tyrant’s decision is nothing more than a desperate attempt to establish an intelligence network within the communities, accompanied by a package of other security programs and structures, in an effort to sow discord among members of society and force everyone to surrender to the authority of the tyrant who has normalized relations.
3- For many years, and based on consultations with foreigners, the Al Khalifa have resorted to various means of infiltrating the Bahraini people and their religious, cultural, and political circles. Yet none of these means has succeeded, thanks to the strength of their faith and their adherence to their roots and identity. Our authentic society has remained stronger than all plans of poisoning and infiltration, including the plan to flood society with mercenary naturalized citizens, the plan to impose loyalty through the media and education, as well as security surveillance programs and the buying of the loyalty of the vulnerable through money and coercion. The latest of these measures is the granting of “special passports” to those who demonstrate loyalty to “the tyrant Hamad” personally.
4- What we conclude from the security and intelligence history of the Al Khalifa is that they repeatedly resort to their failed methods under different titles. This indicates, first, their despair over achieving their primary objective of erasing the indigenous people and dismantling them from within. Second, it confirms that this group has never abandoned its aggressive nature toward the people, and has remained an invading and criminal tribe since its occupation of the country. All of this calls for greater solidarity among national forces, strengthening the popular presence in the public arenas, and showing no leniency toward any attempt to infiltrate the identity, morals, and firmly established values of the people.
5- The government of the Zionist-aligned **Salman—the son of the tyrant Hamad—**rejected a proposal to finance small and medium-sized commercial enterprises aimed at supporting young people and creating decent employment opportunities, under the flimsy pretext of “the financial burden.” This comes at a time when it continues to drain state resources on entertainment projects and to finance loss-making companies such as Formula 1, in order to satisfy the amusements of the tyrant and his sons. This conduct reflects not only the corruption of this group, but also its relentless assault on citizens’ livelihoods and dignity, as well as its disregard for the country’s future, financial stability, and social security, while relying entirely on foreign aid conditioned on subordination to the foreign agenda.
6- During these days, as the nation commemorates the disappearance of Imam Sayyid Musa al-Sadr (August 31, 1979) and the martyrdom of Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad Baqir al-Hakim (August 29, 2003), we affirm that the blood of the great martyrs and their resistance project against hegemony and occupation cannot be defeated through killing or disappearance. Attempts to disarm the resistance in Lebanon, Iraq, Palestine, and various other arenas will be shattered against the rock of the steadfastness and will of the free, so that the banner of dignity may remain flying high until complete liberation, God willing.
