Weekly Position: We Call on the People of the Nation to Assume Responsibility for Stopping the Tyrant Hamad from His Madness in Destroying the Country and Dragging It into the American-Zionist Project
The Political Council of the Coalition of 14 February Youth Revolution Forces issued its weekly position. The following is the full text:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
The Political Council of the Coalition of 14 February Youth Revolution Forces reiterates its warning to the Al Khalifa regime in Bahrain against continuing its subservience to the forces of aggression and corruption led by the criminals Trump and Netanyahu, and against the catastrophic consequences resulting from this subservience that harm the nation and its citizens—particularly amid the structural crises that have continued to plague the country for decades as a result of the tyranny and corruption of the Al Khalifa family.
Following the Islamic Republic’s exercise of its legitimate right under international law to respond to the criminal American aggression, our warning stems from the fundamental position repeatedly affirmed by the opposition forces and by the various segments of Bahraini society: that the Al Khalifa’s subordination to external colonial axes, and their transformation of the country into forward bases for the U.S. Fifth Fleet, will not bring protection to the illegitimate Al Khalifa regime. Rather, it will increase our people’s determination to rid themselves of it. Nor will our people relinquish their right to just retribution against the criminal Al Khalifa perpetrators in this world before the Hereafter.
In this context, we highlight the following points in this week’s position:
1. The continuation of the criminal Al Khalifa regime in opening Bahrain’s airspace and territory to the American-Zionist aggression against Iran means further dragging the people into the flames of a regional war that serves the agendas of the Americans and Zionists, despite its catastrophic economic and financial repercussions.
In light of these dangers, we appeal to the wise among the people of the nation—regardless of their sects and affiliations—including those who support this criminal regime, and call upon them to let conscience and reason prevail and to reflect. Sovereignty and independence cannot coexist with the presence of foreign military bases engaged in aggression against neighboring countries and the killing of Muslims. Remaining silent about this will protect no one; rather, it will bring further harm and dire consequences.
Let them remember how the Khalifa regime’s leniency and failure to take stronger positions against its normalization with the Zionists encouraged it to go further in attaching our country and our history to the Zionist axis and its criminal projects in the region and the world.
We call on everyone to assume their national, religious, and moral responsibility and to take the correct historic position by standing up to the tyrant Hamad and stopping his destructive madness against the nation.
2. Amid the American-Zionist aggression against Iran, the Al Khalifa regime is deliberately pushing forward further chapters of its sinister plan to take revenge on the indigenous people, and to combat their existence and identity, while surpassing all customary, legal, and moral boundaries.
The grave violations documented in credible reports against the esteemed scholars held hostage in the Al Khalifa regime’s prisons reveal the vile degradation of the tyrant Hamad, the criminal Interior Minister Rashid, and their murderous mercenaries, who show no regard for the most basic humanitarian standards or considerations—particularly given the religious and national stature embodied by our captive scholars, who represent the spiritual and historical presence of the majority of the indigenous people.
3. We further affirm in this context that the assault against the captive scholars will only increase the balance of reckoning and the deferred bill that must eventually be paid. The Al Khalifa family will find neither peace nor comfort during the remainder of their numbered days.
Every psychological or physical harm, every trial, and every humiliation inflicted upon the captive scholars constitutes a renewed declaration of war against the people, their religion, and their authentic identity.
This will not, as the Al Khalifa family imagines, drive our dear people into breaking down and surrendering. Rather, it will increase their adherence to their faith and authentic identity, and their following of their esteemed, struggle-oriented scholars.
The message that must reach the tyrant hiding in underground shelters is that the people will not move an inch from their position rejecting the Al Khalifa gang. They will continue pursuing their slogan and project of overthrowing the corrupt Al Khalifa regime and ridding themselves of its evils.
4. As the time approaches for the commemoration of the millions-strong pilgrimage marking the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him)—the great pilgrimage attended by millions of lovers of Abu Abdullah Al-Hussein (peace be upon him) from every corner of the world, in commemoration of the values of his revolution and the principles stemming from authentic Muhammadan Islam—the tyrant Hamad believes that his ongoing war against the indigenous presence in Bahrain and his attempts to dry up its pure sources constitute an opportunity to exclude the followers of the Ahl al-Bayt school of thought (peace be upon them) from participating in the Arbaeen pilgrimage, by imposing restrictions and terrorizing citizens to prevent them from joining the procession of pilgrims.
These retaliatory measures reflect the madness and arrogance that have taken hold of the tyrant. They are inseparable from the plan aimed at besieging the identity of the majority of Bahrain’s citizens and combating it by every means—a reality that the leading jurist, Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim, described as “a severe existential threat.”
