Weekly Position: In the Month of the Triumph of Blood over the Sword, the Republic Prevails over Aggression, and the People of Bahrain Will Not Pledge Allegiance to the Agents of the Zionists and the Americans
The Political Council of the February 14 Youth Coalition has issued its weekly position statement, the full text of which is as follows:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
With the arrival of the Month of the Triumph of Blood over the Sword, the Political Council of the February 14 Youth Coalition extends its deepest pride and reverence to the Guardian Jurist, Imam Sayyid Mojtaba Khamenei (may his glory endure), on the great success in thwarting the treacherous American-Zionist aggression against the Islamic Republic and the Resistance Fronts in the region. On behalf of our people in Bahrain, we express our admiration for the model of leadership and unity demonstrated by the dear Iranian people, who stood steadfast in the fields alongside their wise leadership and courageous armed forces in confronting this criminal aggression.
This unified and resistance-based scene between the people and the leadership in Iran constitutes one of the greatest civilizational lessons the Islamic Republic offers to the region and the world. It confirms that the moral and resistance model founded by the great Imam Khomeini (may Allah sanctify his soul) and whose principal foundations were consolidated by the martyr Imam Khamenei (may Allah sanctify his soul) represents the strongest alternative to the civilization of savagery and corruption. It is a model that will continue to grow in brilliance and inspiration for all the peoples of the world and all free people.
In this context, we record the following points in this week’s position statement:
1- The aggression against Iran, led by the criminals Trump and Netanyahu, was not aimed solely at achieving military and political objectives serving the project of “Greater Israel” and expanding American hegemony in the region as though it were an inevitable destiny to which everyone must submit. Rather, the aggression against the Islamic Republic also sought to overthrow its model of liberation and renaissance after decades of failed attempts to distort and demonize it. Yet this model remained steadfast and proved to peoples and free nations that it is the most viable path toward liberation from corrupt rulers, confronting imperial tyranny, and ending dependence on empires of plunder and exploitation.
2- We affirm that all those who allied themselves with and collaborated in the American-Zionist aggression were united in seeking the downfall of the Republic’s model of liberation and progress, in favor of enslavement to a model based on tyranny, corruption, and dependency. Accordingly, the regimes of normalization and despotism, particularly in Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, rushed to support the aggression and hastened to express their hopes for the overthrow of the Islamic system. Among the manifestations of this was the reckless conduct of Al Khalifa and their involvement in declaring a campaign of sectarian persecution against the Shi’a of Bahrain by targeting beliefs and religious practices such as Wilayat al-Faqih, the religious obligation of Khums, and Friday prayers; criminalizing religious rituals, especially those commemorating Ashura; implementing widespread policies of arrests and siege, including the imprisonment and humiliation of senior scholars; while leaving open the threat of further crimes of displacement and genocide.
3- The true significance of the Islamic Republic’s victory over the American-Zionist aggression lies in demonstrating the resilience, credibility, and effectiveness of the model of liberation from the forces of domination and global arrogance. This constitutes a firm strategic equation that will reinforce the strength and momentum of the Resistance Fronts and open new horizons for the movements and aspirations of peoples in the near future. For “bringing the enemy to its knees,” as stated by the martyr Imam Khamenei (may Allah sanctify his soul), and expelling American forces from the region, as affirmed by the Master of the Martyrs of the Ummah, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah (may Allah be pleased with him), means consolidating the central role and power of peoples in confronting the projects of evil and global arrogance and affirming their ability to determine their own destiny and reclaim their authenticity and confidence in their culture and civilization founded upon values, morality, and resistance.
4- The people of Bahrain—with their authentic forces, figures, and leadership—were among the first peoples to recognize the true nature of the conflict in the region. Despite the risks and challenges, they took an early stand against the American-Zionist project, supported the Islamic Republic, and expressed solidarity with it against the war imposed upon it. This reflected their alignment with the axis of freedom, justice, and resistance, as opposed to the axis of regimes founded upon tyranny, corruption, and dependency. Our people will continue to endure greater pain and suffering, yet they will never bow before tyrants and criminals. Their unwavering conviction is that the values, ethics, and lofty principles that humbled the Americans and the Zionists in their war against the Islamic Republic are the very same values, ethics, and principles that will bring down Al Khalifa and their treacherous project of normalization, displacement, and genocide.
5- With the beginning of the sacred month of Muharram and the commencement of the Ashura season in Bahrain, we affirm that the plan of the tyrant Hamad and his terrorist Interior Minister Rashid will fail to strip the people of Bahrain of their belief in the path of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him). The criminal targeting by the Al Khalifa authorities of Ashura rituals, the removal of Ashura banners and signs, the arrest of preachers and reciters of elegies, and the systematic restrictions imposed on Ashura commemorations and mourning processions will only return upon them with multiplied bitter defeats following the failure of their American-Zionist project. The terror and brutality practiced by the tyrant are nothing more than an attempt to flee forward and a desperate effort to postpone the inevitable downfall of the enemies of the people and the Ummah and those who wage war against the Hussaini rituals.
6- We renew our call upon the people of Bahrain, as has always been the tradition of their fathers and forefathers, to ensure that the Hussainiyas and mourning processions remain symbols of identity and bastions of steadfastness and authenticity, and that all unite to defeat the tyrant’s recurring annual campaign against the rituals of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him). The people should trample underfoot the tyrant Hamad and every miserable decree that attacks the rituals of Ashura and the slogans and enduring principles of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), namely confronting oppression, rejecting humiliation and allegiance to corrupt criminals, and upholding truth and justice. Should the tyrant persist in these crimes, he must look around him at the new realities emerging across the region, for any miscalculation of what is unfolding will cost him the swift end of his illegitimate rule.
7- We call for exposing the fabricated ceremonies orchestrated by the tyrant Hamad and his clique to display loyalty and allegiance, and we affirm that these transparent and disgraceful spectacles do not represent our authentic people in Bahrain. The tyrant’s security apparatus, led by mercenaries, foreigners, and naturalized individuals, will never succeed in fabricating a false narrative regarding the true loyalty and identity of the people, whose genuine attachment remains rooted in their culture, religion, and history, all of which Al Khalifa have fought against since their occupation of the country until this day. In response to this misleading propaganda, the people will raise their resounding Hussaini slogan: “One like me does not pledge allegiance to one like him,” affirming the definitive separation between the free and authentic people of Bahrain and the Al Khalifa tribe together with their naturalized mercenaries and Takfiris. This is a fundamental divide from which there can be no retreat, for this tribe has openly demonstrated its hostility and waged an open war against the identity and religion of the people. The people can never join hands with the agents of the murderous Zionists and the corrupt Americans.
