February 14 Coalition Offers Condolences on the Passing of Religious Authority Sheikh Muhammad Al-Fayyadh (May He Rest in Peace)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
“When a scholar dies, a breach is made in Islam that nothing can fill.”
With profound sorrow and sadness, we received the news of the passing of His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Muhammad Ishaq Al-Fayyadh (may he rest in peace), who was one of those dedicated scholars that devoted their lives to the service of Islam and Muslims, the teaching of Islamic sciences, and the dissemination of the teachings of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
We extend our sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathies to His Eminence the Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance), to the esteemed Grand Maraji’ (senior religious authorities), and to the Islamic seminaries, especially the Hawza of Najaf al-Ashraf, where the late scholar spent his life teaching, authoring scholarly works, and educating generations of religious scholars.
We ask Almighty Allah to encompass the esteemed deceased with His vast mercy and pleasure, to grant him a place in His spacious Paradise alongside Prophet Muhammad and his pure family (peace and blessings be upon them all), and to bestow patience and solace upon his family, students, and followers.
