Weekly Position Statement: Our People in Bahrain Will Not Bow Before the War of Identity and Extermination… and Al Khalifa Will Drown in a Sea of Treason and Aggression
The Political Council of the February 14 Youth Coalition issued its weekly position statement. The full text follows:
In the name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
The Political Council of the February 14 Youth Coalition considers the major terrorist act ordered by the tyrant Hamad — involving the arrest and humiliation of Bahrain’s senior respected religious scholars — to be part of a planned scheme that has existed since he came to the illegitimate throne of power. The Council confirms that this disgraceful scheme had been prepared since that time, and that everything that occurred during the past two decades was merely preparation for reaching this blatant level of war on identity, extermination, and persecution against the indigenous citizens.
At this unprecedented turning point, the religious and national responsibility placed upon honorable figures and groups in this beloved homeland becomes even greater and more urgent. Likewise, the responsibility of rescue carried by the opposition forces is reaffirmed, as they represent the voice and living conscience of the people and bear the responsibility of defending their history in the face of the open war being waged against them.
In this context, we record the following points in this weekly position statement:
The tyrant Hamad has moved forward in his hostility and aggression against Bahrain and its authentic people to this dangerous stage of identity warfare and extermination, relying on the illusion of power planted in him by the Zionist entity and the American administration. Al Khalifa would never have dared to cross all red lines without the green light from the criminals Netanyahu and Trump. Zionist and American experts have long been involved in carrying out the extermination plan against the people of Bahrain because they know that this noble people will never allow the Zionist-American project to pass through Bahraini land. The enemies of the nation will face from this people all strength and determination in legitimate confrontation and resistance, in commitment to its authentic values and steadfast path in resisting arrogance and normalization projects.
We were not surprised by the tyrant Hamad’s escalation in the war of identity and extermination. The root of the issue in Bahrain is that Al Khalifa are invading occupiers who have no connection to this land or its people. From the very beginning, they relied on policies of killing and displacement to impose control, build their settlements, and install their mercenaries. Despite all of this, Al Khalifa failed to force the indigenous citizens into submission and surrender, and they did not succeed in erasing their beliefs, history, and deeply rooted existence. Thus, the battle remained open throughout these years. Methods and policies changed, but their basic objective never changed: the extermination of the people and the cleansing of the country of its indigenous inhabitants. This is what the tyrant Hamad openly and arrogantly expressed in his inciting speeches against the people and their scholars over the past two months.
Since his first day in power, the tyrant Hamad took on the mission of fulfilling the project of his invading ancestors. He chose to implement this dark scheme gradually over time while hiding behind closed doors to weave conspiracies. We point out that the report exposed in 2006 under the name “Bandar Report” was merely a small chapter in the scheme drawn up in the office of the tyrant Hamad to dismantle the religious structure in Bahrain, ignite division within authentic Bahraini society, incite against scholars and religious institutions, attack beliefs and sacred symbols, and open the doors to extremist ideology and ISIS cells to play their role in division and ideological terrorism.
What happened on May 9, 2026, was the final chapter in the tyrant’s project, which he supervised in the year 2000 when he adopted a policy based on three axes:
• First: calming the general atmosphere in order to strengthen the initial foundations of the extermination project, especially through naturalization policies and the destruction of the country’s demographic structure.
• Second: building centers and institutions promoting the identity of Khalifa occupation and assigning them the mission of marginalizing and erasing everything that expresses the people’s identity and Bahrain’s authentic history.
• Third: focusing on preparing the complete project to eliminate Shiite existence by drying up sources of strength and using the law to criminalize the sources that protected this existence over decades. In this context, work initially proceeded through regulating religious discourse in pulpits, besieging mosques and scholars, carrying out arrests and violating their sanctity, gradually persecuting beliefs and religious rituals, escalating challenges against the religious institution and its independence, and continuously threatening it — whether through imposing the personal status law or granting the Ministry of Interior absolute authority over religious endowments, mosques, mourning halls, and Ashura processions.
The American-Zionist aggression against Iran came within the framework of the confrontation project against the honorable front rejecting domination and imperialism led in the region by the criminals Netanyahu and Trump. Naturally, our people in Bahrain stood in the front ranks of this front, in commitment to their values, struggle history, and belonging to this nation and its religion.
Therefore, our people’s firm rejection of the aggression against Iran and their clear understanding of its dimensions in serving Netanyahu’s project of expansion and domination over the region and its peoples became evident. The tyrant — guided and directed by the Zionists and Americans — chose to accelerate the war of identity and extermination by exploiting this turning point to facilitate the fabrication of accusations in order to cover up the ongoing extermination that reached its peak on May 9 of this year.
Before this dangerous turning point, we reaffirm the principles of the political position of the February 14 Coalition and our vision of the current reality. Bahrain today has become completely under the control of the Zionists and Americans and is directly administered by them and by their agents in the Gulf, especially the pro-Zionist rulers of the UAE. Our oppressed people are subjected to a war of collective extermination because of their national and moral stance supporting the resistance in Gaza, Lebanon, and its steadfast stronghold in Iran.
We believe that the tyrant Hamad has thrown all his cards into this final confrontation because of his feeling of illusory excess power. Before our people, there remains no option except steadfastness and resilience, just as their honorable ancestors endured and resisted the first occupiers and defeated attempts to exterminate and uproot them from their homeland.
Here we affirm that the right to self-determination is the gateway to salvation and deliverance. It is what fulfills the people’s aspiration to establish a just and sovereign state. We are confident that our people are stronger through their faith, their commitment to their religious principles, their religious authority, and their righteous scholars. They will never bow to the smallest member of Al Khalifa, nor abandon their project of freedom and liberation. Just as the Americans and Zionists failed in their aggression against Iran and the resistance front, Al Khalifa will drown in their disgrace and shame, and truth will return to its people, while the original inhabitants of the homeland shall return victorious and triumphant, by the will of Almighty God.
