Media Center of the February 14 Coalition: Once again… the Zionist enemy assassinates a free voice in southern Lebanon
The Media Center of the February 14 Youth Coalition issued a statement of condolence and congratulations on the martyrdom of Lebanese journalist “Amal Khalil,” who was killed in what it described as a blatant Zionist attack in southern Lebanon. The statement reads:
Once again, the Zionist enemy sheds the blood of free people and assassinates a voice that spoke the truth and exposed its crimes—crimes that have not stopped in Lebanon, even after the announcement of a ceasefire.
Lebanese journalist “Amal Khalil” was killed today along with two others, while her colleague “Zainab Faraj” was injured in what was described as a deliberate and targeted attack. The enemy did not stop at striking the house they had taken refuge in after attacking the vehicle of the two victims, but also prevented rescue teams and the Red Cross from reaching her, depriving her of any chance of survival.
“Khalil” passed away while resisting with her words—words that this wretched enemy will not succeed in silencing, but will remain an enduring platform exposing its crimes. With every free journalist who falls in one of the arenas of resistance, a new chapter is written in the honorable history of resistance media.
We extend our deepest condolences and congratulations to the family of the martyr, her colleagues, and her supporters, as well as to the resistance media community. We ask God for a speedy recovery for the colleague “Zainab Faraj,” and mercy and forgiveness for the martyrs. We are certain that this path will ultimately be crowned with near victory.
