Foreign criminal prisoners assault the prisoner of conscience Ali Laith in the isolation building

According to human rights sources, the prisoner of opinion, Ali Laith, who is imprisoned in building 1, cell 10 was attacked by a sharp machine by foreign criminal prisoners while he was sleeping in the isolation building at the Central Prison of Joe, causing him to lose consciousness, where he woke up only in the prison clinic drowned with his blood.

According to human rights sources, the prisoner of opinion, Ali Laith, who is imprisoned in building 1, cell 10 was attacked by a sharp machine by foreign criminal prisoners while he was sleeping in the isolation building at the Central Prison of Joe, causing him to lose consciousness, where he woke up only in the prison clinic drowned with his blood.

Ali was transferred four months ago to the isolation building and he asked to return with his Bahraini in mates, but his demand was ignored. He also wrote statements about the harassment of a Syrian prisoner but was not accepted by the prison administration, which encouraged the latter to attack him on Sunday 25 August 2019 by this way. .

The sources pointed out that this incident is not the first and Ali is not the first one, but was preceded by a number of incidents involving a number of isolating prisoners, including what happened to the prisoner, Yousef al-Aradi, in the building No. 13, cells 1, who was beaten by a Bangladeshi inmate, while another detainee in isolation named A.A in building 12 cells 1 was beaten by Pakistani prisoners.

It is worth mentioning that Ali Laith is sentenced to 10 years in prison on political charge and he had served 6 years so far.
