Weekly Position: The Tyrant Hamad’s Imitation of Criminals “Netanyahu and Trump” Will Not Succeed in Terrorizing the People or Preventing the Coming Flood
The Political Council of the February 14 Youth Revolution Coalition issued its weekly statement, which reads as follows:
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The Political Council of the February 14 Youth Revolution Coalition renews its urgent call to all national forces and figures in Bahrain and the Gulf to meet and cooperate in order to develop a shared vision regarding the turbulent situation in the region. This vision should be based on a unified action program to confront the major challenges facing the Gulf in the post–American-Zionist aggression against the Islamic Republic and the Axis of Resistance, and to agree on a Gulf-wide popular rescue movement that takes into account the expected repercussions following the collapse of authoritarian monarchies in the Gulf and the outbreak of conflicts among them.
In this context, we stress the need to strengthen the national popular front in confronting the policies of repression and oppression adopted by the Gulf regimes aligned with foreign powers, in retaliation against their peoples’ rejection of the aggression against Iran and their insistence on raising voices opposing the presence of foreign military bases in the Gulf, considering them platforms of aggression and hubs of espionage serving American and Zionist projects.
We record in this weekly position the following points:
1. The Political Council commends some serious attempts to advance Gulf dialogue toward building a national popular vision that benefits from the lessons of the American-Zionist aggression, including statements issued by some leaders of the Kuwaiti progressive movement. We emphasize the need for transparency in addressing the consequences of this aggression, especially in exposing the dangers of foreign military presence in our countries and prioritizing collective confrontation of the American-Zionist project. This stems from the responsibility to rebuild the sovereignty and independence of our states and to establish a regional security system shared by neighboring countries without foreign interference. We also affirm that any new Gulf revival after this aggression must be based on ending tyranny and corruption and establishing just constitutional states that are not subject to the whims of rulers and the corruption of their sons.
2. The Al Khalifa regime in Bahrain is suffering from tightening constraints surrounding it due to its full involvement in the aggression against Iran. The Al Khalifa family has reached the final stage of failure and loss, now tasting the deadly consequences of its long-standing policies of oppressing and killing native citizens and its total dependence on foreign powers. The regime believes that further crime and revenge may save it from the destruction it is heading toward, but as tools in the hands of hegemonic and colonial powers, they are oblivious to realities and to major plans and agreements unfolding around them. Their final surprise will come when flames consume their palaces and hideouts, and no one will protect them when their American and Zionist patrons flee and abandon them once their role as cheap agents ends.
3. The tightening pressure on the Al Khalifa entity is not limited to the failure of its expectations from its collaboration in the aggression; it has also reached the peak of internal collapse. The aftermath of the aggression will only further narrow the regime’s escape options, especially after exhausting all tools of repression and internal division. Their belief that brutality and oppression would shield them from consequences has failed, particularly in their hostility toward the people of Bahrain, disregard for their values, history, and religion, manipulation of national wealth, and widespread corruption and theft. What they did not anticipate is that the final tightening of these constraints will come at the hands of the people once corruption and tyranny reach their highest levels. At that point, the tyrant Hamad will think he is safe, but divine laws and changing conditions will make him the first to drown in the consequences of his actions.
4. We affirm our confidence in our dear people in Bahrain and their steadfastness in defending the front of truth and resistance, and in refusing to submit to threats and retaliatory policies pursued by Al Khalifa, including arrests, torture, threats of executions, and revocation of citizenship intended as a prelude to mass displacement. These hollow threats come from a weakened and failing regime awaiting its inevitable downfall. It will not be able to continue such oppression because a broad popular reckoning will erupt as the consequences of its participation in the aggression—especially economically—intensify, leading to financial bankruptcy, economic paralysis, and rising debt, causing unprecedented living hardship. At that point, the magnitude of the regime’s crimes, corruption, and subservience will become even clearer, and the people will have the final word and decision of the “flood.”
5. In conclusion, we renew our message to the tyrant Hamad and his corrupt clique: his attempt to imitate criminals “Netanyahu and Trump” in their arrogance and crimes will not prolong the life of his criminal regime. Even his masters in Washington and Tel Aviv have reached a dead end in the face of Iran’s resilience and the bravery of the Islamic resistance in Lebanon. The tyrant who threatens an authentic people with stripping their citizenship should reflect on the fact that Iran’s resilience and that of the resistance were only possible through the power of truth, popular unity, and the leadership of the courageous jurist leader, Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei. Our oppressed people in Bahrain will remain on this path, carrying this trust, and—God willing—will be among the leading peoples who will witness the victory of the faithful and the resistance and the defeat of arrogance and tyrannical agents.
