After more than four months, the Joe prison administration recognized that dozens of detainees are suffering from skin disease caused by deliberate neglect since last August.
It acknowledged that there are 57 detainees infected with skin disease, after they have been diagnosed by a specialized doctor, claiming to have been taken preventive measures prescribed in such cases, including quarantine, provide treatment necessary for them, and follow-up to their health conditions.
This recognition comes after 4 months of an outbreak of “scabies” in Joe prison among a large number of detainees, as they reported that they are infected with skin diseases, itching and allergy .
They added that there is a deliberate negligence by the prison administration not to provide medical assistance , which refutes its lies that it provided them with the appropriate treatment .
