The People of Bahrain Prepare to Commemorate the Revolution and Insist on Freedom for Political Prisoners
The people of Bahrain are preparing to mark the anniversary of the February 14 Revolution, while continuing their solidarity with detained leaders, most notably Professor Hassan Mushaima, despite the tight security grip and ongoing threats.
In the city of Jidhafs, advocacy and supplicatory gatherings in support of the symbol Mushaima are ongoing. Meanwhile, revolutionaries in the town of Al-Daih and the Jidhafs Housing area have inscribed the walls with the statement of the jurist-leader Sheikh Isa Qassim and slogans expressing solidarity with Mushaima. His images were also posted on the walls of the town of Sanabis alongside those of other leading figures, reaffirming their unwavering right to freedom without any conditions.
In the town of Nuwaidrat, revolutionaries raised columns of smoke in solidarity with the prominent national symbol Mushaima and in condemnation of the policy of slow killing being practiced against him.
Additionally, walls in several towns have been adorned with revolutionary slogans in preparation for welcoming the Month of the Revolution, “February of Dignity.”
