The February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition issued a press comment on the latest developments of the political prisoner’s hunger strike in Jaw Prison ‘’We Have a Right’’, which reads as follows:

This proud and generous people once again proves that betting on suppressing their revolutionary selves is not possible, as their fists are rising and their throats are ringing above Bahrain to support the strike of the ‘’captive movement’’ in the tyrant Hamad prison, where the detainees at Jaw Central Prison enter in a second week in the battle of the empty intestine under the slogan ‘’We Have a Right’’, to demand their rights as prisoners of conscience and victims of reprisals from the ruling regime in Bahrain.
Therefore, in February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition, we reiterate our full support for the cause of the ‘’captive movement’’ in the unjust khalifi prison and we call on free detainees to persist and stay steadfast until they have obtained all their rights, and we congratulate them on their firm stance. We also congratulate our proud people for their steadfastness in al-Nusra Square for the ‘’captive movement’’, and we emphasize them as well to continue to support the prisoners with all means and possibilities available, each of his position of responsibility. At the same time, we warn the Khalifi regime not to overlook violations of prisoners’ rights, restricting their freedom and continuing their unjust imprisonment.
