The family of the martyr, Hussein Al-Jaziri, stated that his detainted brother, Muhammad, is being subjected to an unfair trial and systematic targeting by the regime in retaliation for his stance.
Al-Jaziri family said that on Thursday 5 March 2020, it received a phone call from her son Muhammad, who reported that he was transferred to the headquarters of the “Public Prosecution” without the presence of any lawyer to defend him. The judge also denied his denial of the charges against him, and ordered to renew his detention for another 10 days, on pending investigation.
Al-Khalifa Public Prosecutoin had ordered the detention of “Muhammad al-Jaziri” on Saturday 15 February 2020 for a week pending the investigation, after his arrest on the anniversary of the revolution, and pressed the martyr’s family so that it would not reveal his arrest, and then renewed his arrest on Thursday, February 20 for two weeks, as well as it forced his father to sign a pledge not to mark the martyr’s annual anniversary that happened on the same date of the revolution- on February 14.
