On Monday, 27 January 2020, the illegal courts of Al-Khalifa regime upheld the prison sentences on four young people between 1 and 3 years for political accusations .
The lawless court had accused the four young men of creating gears that simulate IEDs in order to carry out a “terrorist” act, according to its claim, and sentenced three of them to 1 year in prison, and three years on the fourth, and supported the sentence of the young man, Wajih Musa al-Qamar.
Al-Daraz Network reported that on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, eight people were sentenced between 3 to 15 years in prison on political cases, including Hussein Adel Rabie (15years) with a fine of 100,000 dinars, Hussein Ali Mahdi (15 years), Sayed Mortadha Sayed Sadiq (7 years), Mohammed Abdul Hussein Eid (3 years), Ali Mahmoud (10 years), Ali Adel Al-Shihabi (3 years), Hussein Mohammed Saleh Ahmed (5 years), Qassim Ahmed Marzouk (3 years).
Meanwhile, the Nuewdrat Network of reported that these illegal courts have sentenced the detainee Ahmed Marhoon to 15 years in prison.
The February 14 Coalition had confirmed that Al-Khalifa judiciary is a “terrorist tool” at the hands of the regime and its rulings are unfair and do not worth the ink written in it, especially that the regime has used it to carry out its terrorist crimes against political opponents. The terrorist repression and political accusations are ready according to its interest that seeks to revenge upon the indigenous citizens.
