Human rights sources revealed that the bands of mercenaries stormed Dry Dock Prison Building 16, in an attempt to force prisoners to end their hunger strike.
The prisoners mentioned that on Monday 19 August 2019, these bands used threats and intimidation methods, such as cutting water and air conditioning on the rooms to force them to halt the strike.
The prison administration also selected a group of detainees and charged them with “inciting the strike” and placed them in solitary confinement.
However, the prisoners of conscience in Joe Central Prison and Dry Dock confirmed that their decision is firm and they will continue their strike until the fulfillment of their demands, which are a right guaranteed internally and internationally.
