On July 28, 2019, al-Khalifa regime arrested Sheikh Abdul Nabi al-Nashabah, and it sent him to the Public Prosecutor’s Office for investigation after he was accused of “contempt of a sect”.
It is noteworthy that al-Khalifa entity continues to arrest religious scholars, preachers and speakers against the background of this charge, while acquitting others who publicly insult the Shiite community, as happened with the Egyptian adviser, who was publicly attacked the Shiites in front of the media.
