Dozens of the Square of Redemption’s  detainees have been released late on Monday night, 27 May, after they had been in prison for about six months.

On Monday (May 27th), al-Khalifa Court ruled to amend the unfair sentences imposed on the detainees of the “Square of Redemption”. The 10 years sentence was amended to  7 years, the one year sentence  to  6 months, while it supported the 3 years’ imprisonment.

It is worth mentioning that the courts of the illegitimate entity issued a verdict on February 27 on 52 citizens for 10 years in jail, 101 citizens for one year, 9 citizens for 3 years, and 4 citizens for six months, based on charges of participating in the sit-in in front of the house of Ayatollah Sheikh Issa Qassem in al-Daraz.
