The Coalition of February 14 launched a media campaign on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 through its social networking sites, calling for participation in the national day to expel the US base from Bahrain on the first Friday of Ramadan.
In its tweets in Arabic and English versions, the Coalition reiterated its rejection of any American presence on the land of Bahrain. It also described the National Day to expel the American base of the Fifth Fleet as a day to reject any American presence and not to allow America to remain free to do what it wants against our land, our homeland and our sanctities.
It stressed the importance of participating in the demonstrations of this day to reject the US military presence that violates the sovereignty and independence of Bahrain, and supports al-Khalifa's dictatorship, and to get rid of the American hegemony and control imposed by its military bases.
The Coalition added that it is important to take part in the National Day demonstrations to expel the US base from Bahrain because America supports al-Khalifa entity in committing crimes against our noble people and declaring adherence to national sovereignty and true independence and rejecting the American military presence in the region which threatens the peaceful coexistence of its peoples, and for all peoples who were oppressed by the destructive American terrorism.
