Human Rights Sources: Prisoner Of Opinion Amira al-Qashmi Is Being Blackmailed For Her Rights

According to human rights sources, the prisoner of conscience Amira al-Qashmi is being restricted in the women’s prison. She deprives of seeing her children after she voluntarily refused to receive visits, where a decision has been issued to set up barrier and reduce contact time.

According to human rights sources, the prisoner of conscience Amira al-Qashmi is being restricted in the women's prison. She deprives of seeing her children after she voluntarily refused to receive visits, where a decision has been issued to set up barrier and reduce contact time.

The sources pointed out that three visits have passed without direct contact between al-Qashmi and her two sons, Qassim (12 years) and Baqer (10 years). The prison administration also reduced the contact time to 30 minutes per week including the contact with the counsel.

Concerning the cracking down and suppression on the women of the revolution, al-Khalifa entity has summoned a blind citizen from the Wadian region of Sitra Island for investigation Tuesday, October 2, 2018.
