The Director of the Political Bureau of February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition in Beirut, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Aradi, said that the National Commission for Popular Petition in Bahrain is doing very important work on the Bahraini arena in this period after collecting about 40 thousand field signatures and about 43 thousand electronic signatures, despite the seriousness of this work inside the Kingdom.
For “Bahrain’s talk” TV program on Al-Alam Satellite channel, he explained that the national responsibility requires Bahrainis and the public to stand with this petition, as it concerns self-determination, and everyone must support it to reach its goals.
Al-Aradi added that the popular field and electronic turnout to sign the popular petition is proof that the people are fed up with the rule of Al-Khalifa regime, which was confirmed by the large numbers of signatures amid security pressure and strict control on the people’s movements.
He concluded that the signing of the popular petition constituted a slap in the face of the ruling regime.
