The National Popular Petition Commission confirmed that after several meetings during the past three months with officials concerned with the Middle East, and Bahrain specifically in the United Nations, the Commission’s delegation has reached to a final agreement ,especially with regard to the field signatures and the severe security conditions surrounding it.
It explained in its statement No. 8 on Saturday, 1 June 2019, that it would announce in a subsequent statement the other details related to the popular petition project, which calls for the election of a Constituent Assembly that would bring Bahrain out of its crisis. It is drafting a new constitution that fulfills the aspirations of all Bahraini Muslim communities and put an end to the era of tyranny and dictatorship forever.
