Death of a Political Detainee Under Torture Arrested on the Background of His Solidarity with the Islamic Republic
The martyr, Sayyed Mohammed Sayyed Mohsen Al-Mousawi
The political detainee “Sayyed Mohammed Sayyed Mohsen Al-Mousawi (32 years old),” from Muharraq Island, died on the morning of Friday, March 27, 2026, in the prisons of the Al Khalifa regime after his arrest on the charge of solidarity with the Islamic Republic.
Sources confirmed that the martyr died as a result of the severe torture he was subjected to in interrogation centers, after his arrest days earlier along with a number of citizens at one of the checkpoints, and his transfer to an unknown destination.
It is mentioned that the martyr is a former political detainee who spent more than 10 years in the prisons of the Al Khalifa regime, and his family received a threat from the regime to remain silent about what happened to him and to bury him quickly.
The February 14 Youth Coalition mourned the political detainee “Sayyed Mohammed Al-Mousawi” as a blessed martyr, after he was subjected to arbitrary arrest at a checkpoint, and what followed of severe torture, on the background of the charge of solidarity with the Islamic Republic.
