Statement of the Jurist-Leader Qassim: The Day of the Pure Guardianship
A statement was issued by the jurist-leader, Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim, regarding the election of His Eminence Sayyid Mojtaba Khamenei as the Guardian of the Affairs of Muslims. The statement reads as follows:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Our Lord, the Most High and the Most Great, the All-Aware and All-Knowing, the Most Compassionate and Most Merciful—praise be to You with limitless praise, a praise surpassing every praise, for Your great favor and Your vast, noble grace upon the faithful people in Iran and its blessed and victorious Islamic Republic, and upon the nation of Islam and faith across the earth. This comes through the decisive opinion and the united support of all officials, official powers, and civil society institutions for the blessed leadership of the capable and just jurist, the son of the Revolution, Sayyid Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei.
There is great hope for the continued strength of the state and its monotheistic path, a path that only grows closer to Allah—the Almighty, the All-Wise, the Most High, the All-Powerful—and through which, God willing, the condition of this secure country and the believing nation will only increase in victory, dignity, unity in the path of God, security, goodness, and blessings.
Massive waves of devoted crowds have already begun filling the public squares, declaring their direct pledge of allegiance to the Guardian Jurist, in addition to the pledge of the Assembly of Experts as stipulated by the constitution.
Indeed, the day of this pure and triumphant guardianship is a day of general joy and complete reassurance for all sincere believers and loyal followers of the guardianship across the world, from one end of the earth to the other.
It is also a day in which the Front of Resistance is strengthened and its spirit of jihad in the path of God rises higher, until the day of the great victory when the guidance of God, the rule of truth, the word of justice, and abundant blessings spread across the earth.
It is a day that heralds, God willing, the uninterrupted continuation of the line of guardianship until the appearance of Imam al‑Mahdi—peace be upon him, may God hasten his noble reappearance, and may our souls be sacrificed for him.
Together, together—O nation of Islam and the Iranian people who struggle in the path of God—upon the path of guardianship, the path of true Islam and sincere monotheism.
