Weekly Position: We call on the peoples of the Gulf to declare their rejection of foreign bases and to pressure their regimes to free themselves from the servitude of “Trump and Netanyahu.”
The Political Council of the February 14 Youth Coalition issued its weekly position, the text of which is as follows:
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
On the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, the Political Council of the February 14 Youth Coalition extends its congratulations to the dear people of Bahrain and to Muslims around the world, especially to the diligent scholars and the senior religious authorities, and to His Eminence the Leader Imam Ali Khamenei, may his shadow be prolonged. We ask Almighty God to accept their righteous deeds during this great month, and to make it a month for striving against the self and purifying it, guided by the light of the Holy Quran and its direction in building the spirit and will, and preparing the mind and heart to confront oppression and arrogance, and to support the oppressed everywhere.
In this context, we record the following points in this weekly position:
1. We affirm the contents of the speech delivered by the Chairman of the Shura Council of the February 14 Coalition on the occasion of the month of Ramadan, and we stress the foundational concepts it contained regarding adherence to the Quranic identity and culture that have distinguished our society in Bahrain, as reflected in the widespread presence of Quranic gatherings in villages and towns. These gatherings represent spiritual and educational institutions in confronting systematic challenges against the identity of society. We believe that Quranic assemblies and community activities concerned with religious observance are a great trust that must be preserved and passed on to future generations who are being exposed to destructive official projects aimed at distorting their spirit, culture, history, and authentic belonging. We also emphasize the concept of Quran-based resistance in all fields and domains, and that the Quran is the foundation for building a pure and upright human being on the one hand, and a guiding light in confronting oppression and tyranny on the other.
2. We call upon our dear people to participate in commemorating the activities of the “National Day for Expelling the American Base from Bahrain” and the Week of Solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran until Friday, February 27 of this year, as a practical embodiment of the meanings and lessons of the month of Ramadan in opposing foreign presence on Bahrain’s soil. The “National Day for Expelling the American Base from Bahrain,” which the February 14 Coalition declared on the first Friday of Ramadan each year since 2017, has become even more important today with the exposure of the role of foreign bases in carrying out aggression and violating our national sovereignty, and turning our country into a foothold for the enemies of the nation and their plans of aggression against the countries and peoples of the region. The aggression against the Islamic Republic in June 2025 and the continued threats of renewed aggression demonstrate that American bases in Bahrain and the Gulf pose a threat to security and stability in the region, and that the peoples of the Gulf must unite, raise their voices in rejection of these bases, pressure their regimes, call on them to sever ties with American-Zionist forces of evil, and free themselves from servitude and humiliation to the criminals Trump and Netanyahu.
3. We strongly condemn the participation of the tyrant Hamad in the first meeting of the so-called “Peace Council,” chaired by the criminal Trump in Washington last week. This weak participation does not represent Bahrain, its people, or its living forces, which have clearly rejected this council and regarded it as a council of colonialism and domination. Our people have repeatedly affirmed their clear position in supporting honorable resistance and rejecting involvement in aggressive alliances led by Washington and Tel Aviv, and they continue to demand the cancellation of normalization and the closure of foreign bases on Bahrain’s land. We affirm that the tyrant’s participation and that of his regime in Trump’s council is rejected by the people and does not represent any free citizen of this dear homeland. We also stress that the malicious role the tyrant has declared he will play in the Gaza Strip will serve to consolidate the Zionist occupation and advance the American agenda.
4. The tyrant Hamad’s participation in Trump’s council came primarily in response to American-Zionist orders, and the Al Khalifa viewed it as an opportunity to strengthen their alignment with the American axis, which they believe is the only way to save themselves from the consequences of the escalating confrontation between the Saudi and Emirati regimes, and the potential outcomes that could ultimately lead to the collapse of the Gulf Cooperation Council. Therefore, the tyrant Hamad displayed complete submission to the Americans during his visit to Washington, expressing his gratitude for allowing him to visit after a long absence, and his readiness to provide all required services in exchange for protection for himself and his tribe from the intensifying crises surrounding them externally, amid the complex web of regional and international conflicts, as well as the growing popular rejection within the country due to the corruption of the Al Khalifa, their brutality, their insistence on antagonizing the people, impoverishing them, suppressing them, and transforming the country into private estates monopolized by them and distributed among their sons and grandsons without accountability or oversight.
