The February 14 Youth Coalition Calls for Commemorating the “National Day for the Expulsion of the U.S. Military Base from Bahrain”
The February 14 Youth Coalition has called on the proud people of Bahrain to commemorate the “National Day for the Expulsion of the U.S. Military Base from Bahrain” and to declare solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran in confronting the threats of global arrogance.
It noted that this year’s commemorative activities will begin on Friday, February 20, and continue until Friday, February 27, 2026.
It is worth mentioning that the February 14 Coalition announced the “National Day for the Expulsion of the U.S. Military Base from Bahrain” in a statement issued on Monday, May 29, 2017, clarifying that it represents the launch of a project not confined to specific time frames, but rather a strategic project that will be pursued with determination and resolve until its noble and legitimate objectives are achieved—objectives that the people have called for over decades. These include reclaiming genuine sovereignty over Bahrain and ending the Al Khalifa’s dictatorial rule, which relies for its survival on the continued presence of the U.S. military base that has covered up the crimes of the Al Khalifa for years and has even been complicit in them. The base is described as one of the pillars upon which the U.S. administration depends to strengthen its military presence in the Gulf and the Middle East, with the aim of advancing its strategic and economic ambitions and supporting Israel.
