Statement by the Prisoners of Bahrain: We Are Steadfast… and the Truth Will Never Become Time-Barred
Issued by the political prisoners in Bahrain on the occasion of the fifteenth anniversary of the revolution. The text reads as follows:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The fifteenth anniversary of the launch of our blessed revolution comes upon us, bringing with it a renewed covenant to continue and persevere until the attainment of our rightful demands.
Yes, we are steadfast. This covenant arises from our proud people—from every one of its members, from its leaders and symbols to its captives in the prisons—that this right will never become time-barred, ever.
These prison bars, and the prolongation of captivity, will not shake our faith in the justice of our cause. The regime must despair of any hope that despair could ever infiltrate our hearts.
We urge our proud people to place their trust in Allah and to continue their rightful and just movement until we all reach victory, God willing.
Blessed are you, our glorious revolution, and blessed is your free and faithful people.
