**Weekly Position: In Preparation for Commemorating the Glorious Revolution…
The People of Bahrain Remain Steadfast on the Path of the Imprisoned Leaders to Overthrow Tyranny and Dependency**
The Political Council of the Coalition of the February 14 Youth Revolution has issued its weekly position. The text reads as follows:
In the Name of God, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate
The Political Council of the Coalition of the February 14 Youth Revolution warns against the policy of “slow death” being carried out by the Al Khalifa ruling entity in Bahrain against the prominent national figure, Professor Hassan Mushaima, and against the continued disregard for repeated demands calling for his immediate release and for granting him access to appropriate and adequate medical treatment.
The Council emphasizes the continuation of full support and solidarity with Professor Mushaima and his honorable family, including the sustained popular and revolutionary mobilization across all arenas until he and the rest of the imprisoned leaders are rescued from the plan to liquidate them inside prison, following years of detention and systematic torture.
The Political Council stresses the importance of understanding this issue within the broader context of ongoing internal and external challenges, and specifically calls for proper preparation for a wide-scale and distinctive commemoration of the fifteenth anniversary of the February 14 Revolution, to be held in the coming weeks. This commemoration must reaffirm the objectives of the revolution in establishing a genuine constitutional system, while mobilizing all available means and capacities to initiate the core national project aimed at confronting the fierce assault targeting the people’s very existence and identity at all levels.
Within this framework, the weekly position records the following points:
1.
We reaffirm our position regarding the case of Professor Hassan Mushaima, that what is unfolding constitutes another chapter in the escalating open confrontation between the Al Khalifa ruling entity and the people of Bahrain. This is neither a marginal issue nor an incidental error in the calculations of the occupying tribe. The tyrant Hamad continues to pursue a project of retaliation against the people due to their insistence on their full and legitimate rights. He assumes that the tense regional environment enables him to intensify repression without red lines, amid the collapse of the global value system under American-Zionist barbarism. However, realities confirm that this will not provide him with any genuine opportunity to defeat our people, as he and his ruling elite fully understand that the conflict with this tyrant and his occupying tribe is grounded in an equation of authentic identity and adherence to the principles of truth and justice. As long as our people retain control of this equation, the identity of the invaders—founded on deception and killing—will never prevail over the sons of the land and their honorable history.
2.
We commend the popular movement expressing solidarity with Professor Mushaima and the imprisoned leaders, and the clear declaration of an unwavering stance rejecting any retreat from supporting these sacrificing leaders and remaining firmly committed to their choice of confronting tyranny, regardless of the escalation of retaliation and coercion by the Al Khalifa regime. Further affirming this popular determination is the honorable movement of political prisoners in support of Professor Mushaima and in affirmation of the right to unconditional freedom. We stress that this radiant display of steadfastness and resilience represents a powerful message that unsettles the tyrant Hamad and will ultimately reduce all his dark schemes to utter failure.
3.
We express our full support for the peaceful movement of citizens deprived of suitable employment opportunities in Bahrain, and we salute their steadfast commitment to their full and legitimate right to a dignified life, free from discrimination or patronage. We affirm that this ongoing movement reflects the profound structural collapse afflicting the country due to the absence of a just state and the lack of genuine popular representation in governance and administration. This occurs at a time when the tyrant and members of his ruling family manipulate public funds and national wealth without accountability or oversight, resulting in widespread poverty, severe living hardships, and an unprecedented accumulation of public debt and fiscal deficits. This ugly reality of tyrannical rule had been warned against by many, including opposition leader the imprisoned Professor Ibrahim Sharif, who was incarcerated to silence his truthful voice and prevent him from exposing the deteriorating economic and financial conditions and identifying the true centers of corruption.
4.
We affirm that this grim scene of systematic destruction and sabotage is part of a continuous trajectory that has persisted since the occupation of Bahrain more than two centuries ago. The crises endured by our people today—deprivation, oppression, deliberate impoverishment, direct and slow killing, and violations of religious beliefs and sovereignty—are a continuation of the actions committed by the ancestors of the tyrant Hamad and his forefathers. Today, he does not hesitate to emulate their crimes, nor to invent new methods inspired by their legacy of violation and enslavement. The most recent manifestation of this approach is the declaration of the so-called “Year of Isa the Great,” accompanied by intensified repression of the identity of indigenous citizens, the suppression of their cultural heritage and the history of their cities and villages, in parallel with the promotion of a distorted heritage in Manama and Muharraq, the construction of new cities within an overt settlement-colonial project, the implementation of new urban planning schemes, and the renaming of cities and streets.
5.
The Al Khalifa family has never hesitated to align itself fully with external hegemonic powers, reflecting its intrinsic attachment to foreign interests and its lack of genuine belonging to Bahrain and its people. This alignment is driven by a desire to secure protection and support in exchange for subservient service to the American-Zionist project, the desecration of the country through foreign military bases, and the establishment of espionage centers.
Accordingly, it was unsurprising that Al Khalifa security agencies directed their mercenaries within the country and the accounts operated by the security apparatus to engage in the hostile campaign targeting the Islamic Republic of Iran, led by the criminal Donald Trump and his subordinate Benjamin Netanyahu. Al Khalifa mercenaries openly incited aggressive military action against the Republic and called for the overthrow of the Islamic system. However, they were met with frustration and disappointment when the Iranian people and their courageous leadership thwarted the new American conspiracy, allowing the front of truth and resistance to rise once again under the leadership of His Eminence Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei (may God protect and guide him).
6.
In the coming weeks, the people of Bahrain will prepare to commemorate the glorious anniversary of the launch of the February 14 Revolution. Together with its active national forces, there is a consensus that the fifteenth anniversary of the revolution occurs amid internal and external developments that further reinforce the legitimacy of the revolution and its objectives of justice and sovereignty. In this regard, we record the following realities: the complete political degradation of the country due to the absolute dominance of Al Khalifa tribal rule; the brutal marginalization of indigenous citizens; the erasure of their identity; and their coercion into glorifying the history of occupation and the massacres it entailed. This has been accompanied by the reconstruction of Bahrain and the reengineering of its social, demographic, and cultural fabric to serve authoritarian, corrupt, and dependent rule—three defining features manifested through policies of security and political terror, the draining of state resources through theft and suspicious projects, the violation of land and people through foreign colonial occupations, and disgraceful normalization.
