In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
🔷️ Bahrain has witnessed, in recent days, an unceasing surge of popular unrest across multiple fronts and issues. This escalation has intensified with the case of the “great symbol, His Eminence Professor Hassan Mushaima,” and we consider what is unfolding to be a natural eruption of the popular anger spreading throughout all regions of the country. The entire nation is burdened with crises and problems as a result of the persistent failure to achieve justice and dignity for citizens.
The Political Council of the Coalition of February 14 Youth Revolution urges all parties to approach the current developments with utmost seriousness and not to regard them as isolated or limited outbursts. It affirms that these developments represent multiple, overlapping circles of anger and tension, all converging on existential issues that concern every citizen in this country. Ultimately, they culminate in a clearly visible core issue: the absence of a just and independent state due to the domination of the Khalifi tribal mafia, with all its savage legacy of corruption, tyranny, and subservience.
🔶️ Based on this, we record in this weekly position statement the following key points:
🔷️1.
We reiterate our call to our brothers and sisters within the sincere forces of society to adopt a comprehensive national vision in addressing the erupting crises in our country, and to hasten the urgent and sound step of reaching consensus on a struggle-based action program that rescues our people from the furnace of impoverishment and annihilation to which they are being subjected by the Khalifi entity gang.
We warn against the consequences of any partial or truncated approach to the unfolding developments, as such approaches constitute a squandering of the people’s efforts and sacrifices and a waste of opportunities for change. Our people will regard this as unjustified negligence warranting accountability—especially in light of the grave threats to their existence and identity. Any laxity in confronting these dangers would amount to fatal negligence.
🔶️2.
We note that popular protest in Bahrain has today reached the peak of transition toward a major explosion. It is ignited by intertwined problems including the loss of dignified livelihoods and decent housing, the suffering of prisons and exile, the weaponization of political isolation and religious persecution, alongside the continuous collapse of generations’ hopes for a just and dignified homeland under the ruling mafia.
There is no doubt that all of this will not be concealed by false promises or poisoned programs that the Al Khalifa family intermittently drips out. The current situation has gone beyond the limits of superficial suffering or mere wounds; our people are exposed to annihilation at the hands of a serial killer who threatens to commit crimes surpassing the brutality of those perpetrated by his fathers and grandfathers. This is a message the tyrant Hamad boasts about every day. Therefore, there is no alternative but an appropriate response from the masses.
🔷️3.
Our reading of the current situation indicates that Al Khalifa have reached the most extreme levels of crime and arrogance in governing the state and monopolizing its wealth. Having descended to the lowest depths of moral collapse and the total absence of conscience and human restraint, they commit the most extreme forms of vengeful and savage humiliation against those who stand against tribal rule and demand a state governed by a constitution that protects the people and their rights.
With the regime having reached the utmost and most extreme levels of brutality, it stands on the brink of disintegration and collapse. What is happening to the great symbol, “Professor Mushaima,” is an expression of this reality and its inevitable outcome. Accordingly, we stress that his case must be treated as the case of the complete destiny of this people, which necessitates defining the path and choice with precision and courage, without hesitation or delay.
🔶️4.
In the face of suffocating living and financial conditions in the country, and the exposure of the economic failure of the Zionist-aligned Salman due to corruption and the squandering of state funds on nightclubs and racing events, it is required that protests by the unemployed and those deprived of housing and a dignified life continue.
These protests must converge into collective, national protests encompassing all affected segments of the nation, forming a unified social base for all citizens. However, we emphasize the need for vigilance against the plots and tricks that the authorities and their agents are likely to employ to dismantle these demands-based movements.
Lessons must be drawn from the past, when the Khalifis resorted to tactics of dividing people’s demands, neutralizing certain social groups through evasive responses to their claims, and then devoting themselves to retaliating against others. Hence, we reaffirm the importance of a unified national framework to manage the popular and national movement, under the central title of establishing a just constitutional state, and rejecting fragmented solutions to individual files.
🔷️5.
The eruption of the Saudi-Emirati dispute on Yemeni soil has exposed the true nature of the “Gulf Cooperation Council,” which represents nothing more than a shack that gathers tribal leaders who inherit conflict generation after generation, preoccupied solely with the pursuit of spoils and the waging of wars and seditions in search of plunder.
This tribal system has no connection whatsoever to the peoples of the Gulf or their concerns. Rather, its policies run counter to the authentic aspirations of the Gulf peoples in this region, and it does not hesitate to fight them or import mercenary populations.
The collapse of the Gulf tribal system deepens the disorientation of Al Khalifa and places them before yet another crossroads—perhaps the most dangerous one. They will not be saved from this predicament by clinging to the American devil and thug Trump, nor by seeking refuge with the Zionists and their warm reception of their new ambassador. The history of tyrants and empires has been swept away by the wind, and neither the length of years nor the power of iron and fire availed them—so how could it benefit dwarf tyrants and client regimes?!
