Statement: “Ibn Salman” — a blood-thirsty tyrant whose approach is built on eliminating opponents
The Coalition of February 14 Youth issued a statement condemning the Saudi regime’s execution of the Qatif martyrs Hussein Haidar Alawi Al-Qallaf, Mohammed Ahmed Saud Al-Hamad, and Hassan Saleh Mahdi Salim. The full text follows:
In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
The criminal Saudi regime—headed by the blood-thirsty tyrant Mohammed bin Salman—continues its criminal course based on the elimination of opponents and the suppression of all who demand their legitimate rights, which this unjust regime has usurped. It relies on direct American support and a political cover that grants it a green light to commit further crimes against innocents.
The crime committed today is nothing but a new link in a long chain of flagrant violations of all human values and norms. Under this regime, human life holds no sanctity, and no right or justice is recognized. Three families have been devastated by the execution of three innocent young men, after fabricated charges were pinned on them—charges befitting only the nature of this regime and those who stand behind it. Its repressive apparatuses carried out the discretionary death sentences against the blessed martyrs: Hussein Haidar Alawi Al-Qallaf, Mohammed Ahmed Saud Al-Hamad, and Hassan Saleh Mahdi Salim—prisoners of conscience who spent long years in its unjust prisons.
At the Coalition of February 14 Youth, we affirm that these crimes—no matter how heinous they become, and no matter the extent of American and Zionist backing they receive—will not weaken the free people of Qatif. Rather, they will only strengthen their resolve and steadfastness in rejecting the dominance of the criminal Al Saud, and in clinging to their usurped rights—of people, land, and dignity.
We also extend our salute of pride and honor to our noble people in Qatif, the land of glory and dignity, especially to the steadfast and patient families of the three martyrs. We affirm that the people of Bahrain stand with them in the same trench, and that there will be no retreat or compromise over our shared rights—foremost among them our right to self-determination. It is a battle of truth against falsehood, and its outcome is a promised divine victory.
O God, have mercy on our martyrs, and grant us and them a place of true standing with You, O Most Generous.
