Statement by the Jurist Leader Sheikh Qassim on the Nineteenth Anniversary of the Passing of

“Al-‘Allama Sheikh Al-Jamri”

The Jurist Leader, Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim, issued a statement on the nineteenth anniversary of the passing of Al-‘Allama Sheikh Al-Jamri. The text is as follows:

In the Name of God, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate

May God have mercy upon all our martyrs and those slain among us who departed in the path of God, in defense of Islam and the Muslims, in any form of jihad and defense.

Every act of jihad and defense, and every act of enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong, possesses its honor, its sanctity, and its lofty rank before God, the Most High, the Almighty, the Most Generous.

May God envelop the beloved Sheikh Al-Jamri in His vast mercy and grant him the greatest happiness in the Hereafter.

May God have mercy upon him, for he was a fine example within the faithful society of Bahrain: in his Husayni oratory jihad, his public missionary discourse, his religious teaching, his political reformist struggle, his active social role, his upright judicial role, and his commitment to enjoining good and forbidding evil.

He endured what he endured of hardship, severity, and tribulation in confronting widespread injustice, supporting justice, and calling to the true religion.

It is incumbent upon our noble people not to forget his efforts, to pray for him, and to follow his example.
