Weekly Position Statement: The Al Khalifa Regime Executes the Zionist-American Project to Strip the People of Bahrain of Their Identity and Their Stance in Supporting the Resistance
Issued by the Political Council of the February 14 Youth Coalition — full text as follows:
In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
The Political Council of the February 14 Youth Coalition extends its condolences on the ascension of the great jihadi leader in the Islamic Resistance, Martyr Abu Ali al-Tabatabaei, along with a group of resistance martyrs, following the treacherous Zionist strike in Beirut.
We offer our condolences and congratulations to the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem, as well as to the leadership of the Islamic Resistance, its fighters, and its steadfast people in dear Lebanon.
We reaffirm our absolute confidence in this honorable resistance—its wise leadership and its sacrificing people—stating that the peoples of the region and the free people of the world will remain loyal to it and to the path that has become deeply rooted in their minds and conscience, blessed by the blood of its commander-martyrs, foremost among them the Master of the Martyrs of the Ummah, the most revered martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah (may God’s pleasure be upon him).
In the context of the unfolding events, we outline the following points in this weekly position statement:
—
1.
The primary goal of the current battle is not to eliminate the military presence of the honorable resistance—something proven to be impossible, no matter how great the crimes of the Zionist-American enemy become.
Rather, the objective is to pressure the peoples of the region into severing their spiritual, cultural, ideological, and political connection to the doctrine of resisting occupation and foreign domination, and to force the broad resistance environments everywhere to declare despair and abandon their cultural and doctrinal foundations.
—
2.
The Zionist and American enemy works to plant subordinate models intended to lure the peoples into aligning with them, in exchange for the threat of siege, killing, and extermination in resistance arenas.
These include the suspicious models emerging in Syria and the Gulf states that have normalized relations.
We view this malicious scheme as part of a destructive project to erase the values of the Ummah and pave the way for the advance of hegemonic powers.
The major battlefield today is the battle over identity and the rejection of injustice and servitude—precisely the practical essence of the directive of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei (may his shadow endure), calling for engaging in Jihad al-Tabyeen (Jihad of Explanation) and strengthening avenues of enlightenment through truth.
—
3.
We affirm that the normalization regimes—including the Khalifi entity in Bahrain—play complementary roles in serving the enemy’s plan to destroy the values and identity of the Ummah.
The Al Khalifa have reached an unprecedented level of treachery and criminality to present their credentials of obedience to the enemies.
We view the arrest and prosecution of the national leader Mr. Ibrahim Sharif as part of the expanding efforts in Bahrain to silence voices opposed to the Zionist expansionist project, and to compel the people to submit to the agreements and alliances forged with the enemies of the Ummah.
—
4.
The noble history of our people proves that they cannot be tamed or subdued.
If the Al Khalifa imagine that normalization and subservience will bring them stability for their illegitimate rule or cover up their crimes and corruption, they are gravely mistaken.
They will inevitably fall into the consequences of their own deeds, sooner or later, for the people of Bahrain will never sell their identity or their belonging to the Ummah and its sanctities.
They possess full faith and readiness to rise up against tyranny, corruption, and dependency, defending the values of religion and the sovereignty of the homeland.
—
5.
The consultations, programs, and conferences held by the Al Khalifa in Washington and London—under the sponsorship of research centers tied to hegemonic powers—will not succeed in rehabilitating their corrupt and criminal regime or promoting it internationally.
Their very involvement in the American-Zionist alliance, stained with the gravest crimes of this era, is evidence of their defeat before the will of the people of Bahrain and the strength of their faith.
Every time the Al Khalifa believe they have found a historic opportunity to demonstrate their functional role in the region—at the expense of national sovereignty and popular will—they sink deeper into the mire, heading toward the same folly that toppled tyrants like the Shah and Saddam.
—
6.
As the commemoration of “Bahrain Martyrs’ Day” approaches in mid-December—marking the martyrdom of the heroes of the Dignity Uprising, Hani Khamis and Hani al-Wasti in 1994—we reaffirm our position toward this great anniversary.
This occasion is an essential part of Bahrain’s identity and expresses the path embraced by the indigenous citizens against the brutality and falsification characteristic of the invading Al Khalifa tribe.
The existential significance of this anniversary becomes even clearer amid the fierce war the Al Khalifa have waged for more than two decades to erase and distort this memory, preventing the people from honoring their great martyrs and prosecuting their killers—culminating in their manufactured “Martyr’s Day” dedicated to their mercenary dead, funded with stolen money and designed to glorify those who committed crimes in Bahrain, Yemen, and elsewhere.
—
7.
Finally, we reflect on the 11th anniversary of the popular referendum organized by the “Independent National Commission for the Popular Referendum,” chaired by Ms. Balqis Ramadan.
We reaffirm our political stance on the right to self-determination, grounded in the people’s will to define the political system that governs them, and to be the true decision-makers in building a cherished homeland founded on equal citizenship and fair distribution of wealth.
We have emphasized our commitment to the outcomes of the popular referendum (November 2014) through the Popular Petition (November 2018) and the Constitutional Declaration (November 2022).
We will continue on this path until corruption, tyranny, and domination are removed from our beloved people and country.
