News Report from Jaw Prison: Role-Switching — A New Mask for an Old Policy
A news report from Jaw Prison stated that the facility has recently witnessed a noticeable shift in its strategy for dealing with prisoners over the past few days. Absent from the scene is the prison director, Colonel Mazen Al-Tamimi—known for implementing containment and diversionary policies since his arrival—along with his team consisting of Major Hamad Al-Dhawadi, Captain Khaled Al-Dhawadi, Captain Ali Arad, Captain Mohammed Salah, and others. Responsibility has now been transferred to the previous gang that had been sidelined due to political necessity following the escalation of tensions inside the prison.
The report pointed out that this “necessity” has once again brought this gang back to the forefront, as a group of officers, deputies, and police officers known for their severity, malice, vindictiveness, and sectarianism—led by Major Ahmed Al-Amadi, Captain Malallah, Captain Khaled Atiq, Captain Khaled Al-Tamimi, and Captain Ahmed Sultan, among others—has taken control of the situation.
The political prisoners emphasized in their report that the policy of role-switching is an old one, repeatedly used by governments as a means of revenge, repression, and denial of justice to their rightful owners. They affirmed that the return of this policy will only further strengthen their resolve to hold fast to their inalienable and legitimate right—unconditional freedom.
The prisoners stressed that the regime is mistaken if it thinks, even for a moment, that such actions will intimidate them.
