Weekly Position: The People of Bahrain Affirm Practical Commitment to the Path of Freedom and Resistance in the Wide Commemoration of the Most Sacred Martyr
Issued by the Political Council of the February 14 Youth Revolution Coalition
In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
The Political Council of the February 14 Youth Revolution Coalition extends its greetings and praise to our resistant people in Bahrain for their massive presence across all regions of the country to commemorate the first anniversary of the martyrdom of the “Master of the Martyrs of the Nation, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and the Hashemite martyr Sayyed Hashem Safi al-Din (may God’s mercy be upon them),” along with the shining constellation of martyred leaders in Lebanon. Our loyal people were keen to be among the first to take part in the arenas of commemoration, affirming the deep bonds that link our people with the Most Sacred Martyr and his jihadi Khomeinist path—founded on profound faith, steadfastness in creed and guardianship—which grants strength and endurance upon the truth, and infuses values of dignity and pride tied to heaven and its divine message. This represents the true secret behind the resilience of nations and peoples in the face of tyrants, occupiers, and their threats of killing, displacement, and extermination.
On this occasion, we record the following points in our weekly position:
1. The Most Sacred Martyr offered a living, practical model of the faithful human being, who reaches the highest degrees of connection with God Almighty, while also embodying complete defense of the oppressed and confronting the projects of the arrogant powers. In this regard, the speeches of the great martyr represent an illuminating school and a creative application of the school established by Imam Khomeini (may God sanctify his secret) and his loyal student, Sayyed Leader Khamenei (may his shadow be extended). We believe that loyalty to the Most Sacred Martyr requires documenting his speeches, stances, and messages throughout all stages of his blessed life, together with a full record of his intellectual legacy, writings, and notes on various issues and topics. This should be considered a great treasure belonging to the entire Ummah and will serve as the essential foundation for instilling his great path generation after generation.
2. The active participation of our people in commemorating the Most Sacred Martyr and the martyred leaders of the Islamic Resistance is a reaffirmation of the steadfastness of the people of Bahrain in their belief in the project of freedom and salvation from tyranny and despotism, alongside perseverance on his path of liberation from arrogance. The demonstrations, slogans, activities, and events that took place in Bahrain and abroad in recent days reflected the authentic course insisted upon by our people and its living forces, based on true loyalty to the Most Sacred Martyr, and a practical covenant to continue his noble path, regardless of sacrifices and harsh conditions.
3. With respect to the recognition and reverence that the Most Sacred Martyr was keen to declare—strongly and clearly—towards our people and their stances, especially after the February 14, 2011 revolution (as we documented in the book “Master of the Martyrs of the Nation and the Movement of Bahrain”), we view this as another testament to the unique distinction of our great martyr, just as it was with regard to his support for Yemen and its people during the Saudi aggression in 2015. We do not consider this merely a passing gesture of solidarity, but rather a reflection of the martyr’s spiritual, moral, and humanitarian uniqueness, blended with his long jihad and exceptional genius in building the resistance and creating victories against the Zionist entity.
4. The opposition forces and the people of Bahrain affirm their loyalty to the covenant with the Most Sacred Martyr, not only through support of the honorable resistance, confronting the Zionist entity, and rejecting normalization, but also through loyalty to his pure blood by adhering to the values he recalled when addressing the people of Bahrain during the days of revolution and hardship. This includes his insistence (may God’s mercy be upon him) that the people must never surrender to the crimes of Al Khalifa, remain steadfast in their legitimate rights, and hold fast to the wise leadership represented by Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim (may God protect him).
5. In this same context, we point out that the suffering and challenges faced by Bahrain and its people are not limited to the Khalifi entity’s persistence in imposing despotism, tribal sectarian rule, and systematic assault on the people’s political and economic rights. They also extend to existential threats against its very identity, which continue unabated. As our Most Sacred Martyr stated, the “disgrace and shame” carried by the Al Khalifa after their public normalization with the Zionists has driven them to implement the very Zionist schemes—among them the imposition of fabricated narratives, demographic engineering through naturalization, and the gradual disruption of Bahrain’s religious and cultural structure. This includes the eradication of elements of national pride in identity and history of struggle, while promoting a culture of consumption, submission, and intellectual subjugation to Western values of decadence and domination.
All of this means that our Ummah and its peoples are called upon to greater preparedness, vigilance, and powerful mobilization, with their free leaders, elites, and movements at the forefront of this march—firmly upholding its essential goals of protecting the values of freedom, independence, and sovereignty, along with the values of liberation and confrontation of current colonialist powers embodied in the criminal Zionist-American project.
