Weekly Position: The Tyrant Hamad is Colluding with the Zionist Enemy… Summit Statements are Worthless Without Ending Normalization and Closing Foreign Military Bases in the Region
Issued by the Political Council of the February 14 Youth Revolution Coalition – Weekly Position:
In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
The Political Council of the February 14 Youth Revolution Coalition affirms the exposure of the role of American and Zionist security and defense treaties with Gulf regimes, stressing that these treaties—whether secret or public—are part of the tools used to control the Gulf states and dominate their sovereign decisions, with the primary goal of safeguarding American and Zionist interests.
The Council considers that the recent Zionist aggression targeting the Political Bureau of the Hamas movement in the State of Qatar has clearly proven that the American-Zionist alliance gives no regard to the interests of the states it dominates through treaties and military bases. This also reaffirms the positions of the peoples of the region, including the people of Bahrain, who demand the termination of these treaties and the closure of such bases, since they constitute headquarters of aggression and destabilization, as well as centers for plotting against the interests and national and pan-Arab constants of the peoples.
In this context, we record in this weekly position the following points:
1. We affirm that the attempted assassination of Hamas leaders through a treacherous Zionist attack on Doha is a natural outcome of the current Arab official surrender to American-Zionist arrogance, and of the rush to sign miserable normalization agreements with the Zionist enemy. It is also the result of Gulf regimes in particular being drawn into evil alliances hostile to the values of the Ummah and its quest for freedom and liberation from occupation and foreign domination—including conspiring against the resistance forces and scheming against them through intelligence operations and comprehensive sieges, leading to the vile attempts to strip them of their honorable weapons that defend the dignity and sovereignty of the Ummah against ongoing Zionist aggression.
2. Conferences and presidential summits that are limited to issuing statements of condemnation and denunciation cannot deter aggression or repel the dangers looming over states and peoples. Therefore, we call on those gathered at the Doha Emergency Summit (Monday, September 15) to respond to the demands of their peoples by severing ties with the aggressive system run by Washington, and to take practical steps toward that end, including canceling security and military agreements with the United States and closing its military bases in the Gulf and the region. Likewise, the normalizing states—particularly the Khalifi entity in Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates—must cancel their normalization agreements with the Zionist enemy, permanently close the enemy’s embassies, and designate the Zionists as terrorists and enemies of the Ummah, especially given their continued arrogance, colonial expansion, and relentless aggression in Gaza and Arab countries.
3. In this regard, we denounce the disgraceful stance taken by the tyrant Hamad and his illegitimate entity in dealing with the aggression against Doha. The tyrant belittled the Doha Summit and its participants by refusing to attend personally, despite having carried out numerous tours and meetings inside and outside Bahrain during this period. This step was intended to avoid having the tyrant and his entity approve any strongly worded statement against the Zionists or any practical measures that might embarrass normalization regimes. In the same context, the tyrant instructed his regime not to use strong language in condemning the aggression against Doha. The Foreign Ministry’s statement was limited to offering condolences for the martyrdom of a Qatari security officer during the aggression, while ignoring the Palestinian martyrs of Hamas. This explains the Khalifi entity’s disgraceful condemnation of the heroic Jerusalem operation that occurred a day before the aggression on Doha.
4. The treacherous Khalifi behavior, aligned with the American-Zionist project, confirms the tyrant Hamad and his entity’s blind and total subservience to the Americans and Zionists, and their abhorrent refusal to respond to the calls of the people of Bahrain and their steadfast stance in support of Gaza and the resistance in Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, and Iran. This necessitates greater popular and national mobilization to disown this entity and to reaffirm that it does not represent Bahrain or its free and noble people. The people continue to hold demonstrations and protests across various regions of Bahrain, including the participation of a group of honorable citizens in the Gulf Resilience Ship to break the siege on Gaza—citizens whom we once again praise and take pride in, and with whom we stand in solidarity in the face of the harassment they and their families are subjected to by the Bahraini security authorities.
5. On the occasion of the International Day of Democracy (September 15), we reiterate the goals of the ongoing revolution of the people of Bahrain, foremost among them the establishment of a genuine constitutional system in which full sovereignty belongs to the people through their elected representatives. This demand has become a matter of broad popular and national consensus after the Khalifi entity has plunged into corruption, despotism, normalization, and subservience, devastating the nation and its people through all forms of repression, impoverishment, and deprivation. Today, the very existence and authentic identity of the people are in grave danger, exceeding all red lines. As the Master of the Martyrs of the Ummah, His Eminence Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah (may God’s mercy be upon him)—whose first martyrdom anniversary will be marked at the end of this month—said: the Al Khalifa are implementing “the very Zionist project” in settlement, displacement, extermination, naturalization, and replacing the indigenous population with imported settlers and mercenaries.
