Weekly Position: Popular and National Consensus Against the Zionist Project in Bahrain is an Embodiment of Our People’s Unity
Issued by the Political Council of the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition
In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
On the blessed occasion of the birth of the Noble Messenger (peace be upon him and his family) and the Week of Islamic Unity, we in the Political Council of the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition extend our congratulations to the Master of the Age and Time (may God hasten his reappearance), to the grand Islamic authorities, to the Guardian of the Muslims, the leader Sayyid Ali Khamenei (may his noble shadow endure), and to all Muslims worldwide.
We renew our pledge of allegiance to the Prophet of Mercy, the Seal of the Prophets (peace be upon him and his family), to remain steadfast upon his eternal message that illuminated the world with the light of freedom, justice, and dignity, and shattered the idols of disbelief, polytheism, and tyranny. We affirm our commitment to walk in the guidance of his message, which has been renewed through the fronts of resistance established by the great Imam Khomeini (may God sanctify his soul), and his tremendous role in restoring the dignity and honor of the Ummah, so that it may be the best nation brought forth for mankind—on the path of unity among Muslims, supporting the oppressed, and confronting the tyrants of our age.
On this occasion, we record the following points in our Weekly Position:
1. On the occasion of the Week of Islamic Unity—which brings together the births of the Noble Messenger (peace be upon him and his family) and his grandson Imam Ja‘far al-Sadiq (peace be upon him)—we stress the importance of national and Islamic unity in Bahrain. We affirm our rejection of all forms of conflict and hostility among the people, especially in light of the regime’s continuous attempts to fabricate division and sow sectarian discord, in order to sabotage the shining national model of our beloved people in solidarity and cohesion, as they march united in the struggle against tyranny, colonialism, and normalization.
2. We commend the noble national unity embodied by our people in standing against the reality of normalization and conspiracy represented by the Khalifi regime. This was reaffirmed through the popular and national consensus in Bahrain condemning the appointment of a new Zionist ambassador in Manama. Our people’s courage in demonstrations, their call for his expulsion, and their demand to close hostile foreign bases are a renewed and emphatic confirmation that our loyal people remain true to their pledge to support the resistance and to remain steadfast on the path of liberating all of Palestine. This decisive stance has become a permanent hallmark of our people’s unity in Bahrain, and it must be preserved and safeguarded against the schemes of conspirators and normalizers. We also commend, in this context, the participation of members of our people in the Global Freedom Flotilla to break the siege on proud Gaza, and we see in each one of them a symbol of honor representing our entire nation.
3. We express utter disdain for the recent words of the tyrant Hamad, in which he admitted to Zionist crimes in Gaza. We see this timid admission as nothing but dust thrown in the eyes to conceal his blatant complicity with the Zionist criminals. No one is unaware that the normalizing Al Khalifa are original partners in the war of extermination, starvation, and siege imposed upon our people in Gaza—particularly in light of their brazen reception of the former Zionist ambassador and their warm welcome of the new one. We stress that the tyrant’s speeches and words will never deceive our people, who have repeatedly witnessed the Khalifi regime’s involvement in the evil American–Zionist alliance. This illegitimate regime’s survival rests only on the protection provided by the Americans, the British, and the Zionists, in exchange for using our land to destabilize the region. This reality only strengthens our people’s determination to cling to the choice of resistance and its noble axis, to reject servitude to the world’s savage powers, and to simultaneously resist tyranny and corruption in Bahrain.
4. The current stage and its dangers require heightened vigilance and awareness, in light of the boundless crimes carried out by the American–Zionist alliance and their contempt for the dignity of peoples and the sovereignty of nations. The criminal Trump’s declaration of converting his “Department of Defense” into a “Department of War” is but an expression of this ugly face of the alliance of killing and genocide—at a time when they force the world to accept humiliation and pay tribute, while never hesitating to extend aid, support, and arms to carry out massacres and displacement in Gaza, and aggression against nations and peoples. This shameful, bleak scene in the history of the savage West demonstrates that tyrants want to force everyone to swallow humiliation and accustom themselves to servitude—something that free peoples and the fronts of truth and resistance can never accept, as they insist on loyalty to the path of authentic Islam that refuses to bow to any but God Almighty.
5. Events and realities have confirmed what the Martyr of the Ummah—Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah (may God’s pleasure be upon him)—foretold, whether in exposing the criminal nature of the American–Zionist enemy, or regarding the dangers facing the Ummah and the peoples of resistance from the normalization regimes, especially in the Gulf. As we approach the first anniversary of the sacred martyrdom, we recall that he was the bravest and most insightful in diagnosing the nature of the Zionist Al Khalifa, when he described them as “petty tyrants” executing in Bahrain a project inspired by the Zionist model through naturalization, displacement, and demographic change. He emphasized (may God’s pleasure be upon him) that they are mere pawns of Al Saud, nothing more than cowardly servants of the Zionists and Americans. This has been fully revealed, as they sold the country to foreign occupiers and intensified their crimes against our people, their identity, their sanctities, and their authentic history. As our great martyr declared, all these crimes will never drive our people in Bahrain to despair or defeat, nor will Al Saud achieve their goal of forcing them into their homes and raising flags of surrender. This “brave and patient” people, as the sacred martyr described them, will never bow down or surrender, no matter the wounds and the spears.
6. With the beginning of the new academic year, we urge Bahrain’s students—male and female—to pursue diligence and perseverance in acquiring knowledge and the highest academic degrees, and to strive and persist in fostering creativity and intellectual growth, for that is the weapon and ammunition to build a free and glorious homeland, and to prepare for the rise of an independent nation where all its original sons and daughters will together shape its advanced future. We stress the necessity of making broad knowledge, and the diversification of learning and cultural sources, an inseparable part of the scientific-building project—including knowledge of Bahrain’s authentic history and its great scholars, a shining page that the Al Khalifa are working to erase from memory, from the national archive, and from the educational curricula.
