Statement: The Appointment of a New Zionist Ambassador in Manama is a Shameful Political and Moral Collapse of the Khalifi Regime
In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
The Khalifi regime’s decision to approve a new Zionist ambassador in Manama to replace the outgoing envoy, Eitan Na’eh, amid the ongoing bloodshed in Gaza, constitutes a resounding political and moral collapse, a blatant betrayal of the nation and the region, and a cheap disregard for the blood of the martyrs — as the number of martyrs in Gaza has exceeded 61,000, among them children, women, and defenseless men.
At a time when some states around the world are moving to punish and prosecute the Zionist entity, and as calls grow louder to stop its massacres and starvation war against innocent people, the Khalifi regime — which boasts of its Arab identity — has chosen instead to roll out the red carpet for the child-killer and to continue opening its official doors to him at the expense of Palestinian blood.
We affirm that this heinous, reckless, and shameful step does not represent the people of Bahrain, whose voice has been clear and outspoken in defending the central cause of the nation — Palestine — and will remain so. We consider it a reflection of the Khalifi regime’s total subservience and detachment from the will of the people, a dangerous deviation from the stance of the nation, and further proof that this illegitimate regime has decided — “without shame” — to reward the occupier for the genocide and starvation war it is waging against our people in Gaza, instead of condemning it.
