Statement: We Condemn the Crime of the Saudi Terrorist Regime in Executing the Opinion Prisoner “Jalal Hassan Al-Libad”
Issued by the Coalition of February 14 Youth Revolution, a statement condemning the crime of execution committed by the Saudi terrorist regime against the martyr “Jalal Hassan Al-Libad.” The full text follows:
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
In a new heinous crime committed by the bloodstained Saudi terrorist regime, today, Thursday, August 21, 2025, it executed the oppressed young opinion prisoner “Jalal Hassan Al-Libad” treacherously and deceitfully, reaffirming once again its disregard for human, religious, and legal values, and its continuation in the policy of bloodshed and committing systematic crimes against the people of Qatif and Al-Ahsa.
The happy martyr was arrested on February 23, 2017, and from the moment of his arrest, he was subjected to the worst types of torture. He spent four months in solitary confinement and endured brutal torture aimed at extracting false confessions that bear no relation to the truth, after which he was presented to sham politicized trials lacking the most basic standards of justice.
This heinous crime is but a new episode in the ongoing series of carrying out unjust death sentences and systematic killings executed by the bloody Saudi regime against opinion prisoners and the Shia community. The full responsibility for this crime lies with the tyrant “Mohammed bin Salman,” who is drowning the Land of the Two Holy Mosques in a swamp of corruption and decay while shedding the blood of free people unjustly and aggressively.
We, at the Coalition of February 14 Youth Revolution, renew our solidarity, along with the people of Bahrain, with our brothers and sisters in the glorious and dignified Qatif. We offer our condolences to the family of the martyr for this painful loss, congratulate him on this high honor, and affirm that the blood of righteous martyrs will never be wasted and is under the protection of God Almighty. These great sacrifices will remain a beacon for the free and a flying banner in confronting the Saudi terrorist regime, which lacks the slightest popular legitimacy.
