Weekly Statement: The People of Bahrain Are Committed to the Hussaini Resistance and Will Not Submit to the American-Zionist Project
Issued by the Political Council of the February 14 Youth Coalition, this is its text:
In the name of God, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate
The Political Council of the February 14 Youth Coalition extends its deepest thanks and appreciation to the Republic of Iraq — its government, people, and Popular Mobilization Forces — for the excellent organization, warm reception, and hospitality extended to the participants in the millions-strong Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein ibn Ali (peace be upon him). This great occasion reflected the unity of the nation in confronting the forces of arrogance and tyranny, following the example of the Master of the Martyrs of Paradise (peace be upon him), and true commitment to the Karbala path in supporting the oppressed and rejecting allegiance to Yazid and his kind — the killers and criminals — in all times and places.
Our dear people had a tangible and distinguished presence in this occasion, joining millions of free people worldwide who flocked to Holy Karbala, embodying with one spirit the goals of Imam Hussein’s revolution (peace be upon him) and its immortal slogans, raising chants of dignity and death to the arrogant Americans and occupying Zionists.
In light of this, we record the following points in this weekly statement:
1. The massive participation and great Hussaini commemoration of Arbaeen confirmed that the nation and free peoples are stronger than the arrogant schemes led by the American Satan in the region and the world. The crowds arriving in Karbala from all sects and countries presented a living example of what peoples can offer in terms of sacrifice and dedication to confronting the enemies and preserving the line of resistance. It proved to all the failure of every plan and conspiracy aimed at depriving this nation of awareness and will, dragging it to submission, normalization, and humiliating allegiance to tyrants and occupiers. The diverse presence at Arbaeen and the raising of Palestinian and resistance flags are proof of the eternal and universal values of Imam Hussein’s revolution (peace be upon him), which will remain the greatest emblem feeding humanity with meanings of freedom, dignity, and liberation from tyrants.
2. The massive annual Arbaeen commemoration in Karbala is a living model of the Hussaini approach firmly upheld by our people in Bahrain in commemorating the revolution of Imam Hussein ibn Ali (peace be upon him), contrary to what the Khalifi entity has sought to impose for years through forcing citizens by iron and fire to observe a distorted commemoration that empties Ashura and the Karbala epic of their true message. We affirm that the Al Khalifa plan to corrupt Ashura and distort the memory of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) will inevitably fail and will find no acceptance or response from our Hussaini people, for this free people realize that Al Khalifa are the continuation of the killers of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and the Yazidi project based on vice, killing, and oppression. They are allied with the Americans, Zionists, and their agents to poison the nation’s awareness and strip it of its authentic identity and its values that oppose humiliation and subjugation.
3. The Political Council stresses its support and protection for the resistance in Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, and Iran, and renews the firm and steadfast positions affirmed by the honorable participants in the “8th Martyrs of Bahrain Exhibition,” held by the coalition in Holy Karbala on the occasion of Arbaeen. We reaffirm our full alignment with the honorable resistance that represents the shield of this nation and the symbol of its honor and dignity, standing with it and defending it with all souls, no matter how many trials increase or enemies gather around it and its noble weapon. We will not abandon it and will remain “steadfast on the covenant” in good times and bad, God willing, protecting it by all legitimate means and in all places and arenas.
4. We salute the sons of our people in Bahrain for their steadfastness in supporting the resistance and not retreating from backing Gaza and its valiant resistance, standing against the war of extermination, starvation, and normalization. We urge everyone to participate in all programs and activities that raise the banner of Palestine and the resistance and to never hesitate to expose the treacherous regimes colluding with the American-Zionist project, especially the normalization regimes in the Gulf. We also call for vigilance and caution regarding what is being prepared in Bahrain following the disgraceful public meeting between the so-called Crown Prince Salman Al Khalifa and the Zionist ambassador in Manama, “Itan Na’eh,” at the end of his term, coinciding with ongoing preparations to appoint a new Zionist ambassador alongside a new American ambassador. This signals a secret and swift direction to make Bahrain an advanced platform for executing the dark plans of global arrogance, especially after concluding secret and public treaties to tighten control over the country and fully integrate it into American and Zionist spheres. We consider the docking of the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier “USS Nimitz” in Manama ports a symbolic reward to Al Khalifa for their absolute submission to the wicked American alliance in exchange for securing the protection of their client authoritarian regime.
