Photo Coverage: Bahraini Revolution Banners Along the Pilgrims’ Route to Karbala
From Najaf to Karbala, the sides of the roads are filled with banners of the Bahraini February 14 Revolution, serving as a media platform aimed at introducing the cause of the people of Bahrain alongside the central cause of Palestine.
These banners feature images of Leader Sayyid Ali Khamenei, the religious leader Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim, other scholars of the ummah, and excerpts from their revolutionary statements. A number of the banners are dedicated to Gaza and Palestine, and to rejecting normalization [with Israel].
Also displayed along the pilgrims’ route are images of Bahrain’s martyrs who fell on the path of the Bahraini revolution, as well as photos of political prisoners still held in Khalifi prisons, foremost among them the leading figures of the movement.
In addition, as part of the Arbaeen pilgrimage events, the February 14 Youth Coalition has inaugurated the “Bahrain Martyrs Exhibition” in its eighth edition, in support of the people of Bahrain and the Axis of Resistance, and as a renewal of the pledge to follow the Hussaini path of the martyrs.
